I like the tree coverage. “Urban forests” ftw!

Never shared on here before, so unfortunately only can share one photo? I worked on “Wafflesocket” over the holidays & pretty proud of it so far.

Took advantage of the natural moat around the hill to create the fortress & shrine area… the bridge was not easy.

Have had to cull villagers to keep it running smoothly, currently on year 186.

Try the alternating-stripe 1x10 method of terraforming.

Less time consuming than full 10x10 plats

No way that is not modded terraforming. You cant get such straight and even ground after terraforming started.

1 000 pop city, 9 x 9 grid used :

  • center for commercial
  • left industrial
  • up, right and down residential.
  • at each 4 corners 6 farms.
  • up and right, 2 x 4 arborists.
  • left and down 2 x 2 barns
  • fishers, hunters, foragers, miners …

Work very well, good defense (48 towers with 2 gards and 24 soldiers just in case), food, gold, ressources, +85 desirability for all houses (i use gardens to increase it where it is needed) and everyone is happy

Who want to take my gold? !
