Feedback
Small/Bugs
- Dont need a warning that its too cold for cows to graze when it’s winter, they’re going in the barn
- Indicators like rats which are within range of their solution building (rat catcher) should show an indicator that they are in the process of being taken care of so the player can see rats that aren’t being taken care of
- Probably a bug, but I’ve had a consistent notification above my brewery that it’s not providing entertainment. It’s a brewery?
- Ability to upgrade wood fences to stone, basically having to build an outer fence while deconstructing and rebuilding to avoid the deer lawnmowering all my crops
- Notification system additions, would be good to know when buildings are completed for example
- Cursor gets lost in the snow, maybe thats just me
- Cooldown on sounds when clicking on buildings
- Enemy raiders/armies use fence gates if available (stop wrecking my field protection, theres nothing to loot in a field and the gate is 10 feet away!)
- Durability seems bugged on buildings, everything sits at 100% until randomly half the city drops to a flat 33%.
- Gold seems to exist in a nether, only a small part is located in my vault which is not full
Bigger
- Trading across cities with your own caravans (can assign guards to protect for game balance).
- Trade depots (base or upgraded) can set recurring purchases. For example buying 100 units of iron ore each year assuming gold is stocked in the depot, or not but runs the risk that workers cant stock in time before trader leaves
- Mines with deeper or nearly unlimited reserves, could be tier 3+ but I ran out of sand, iron, and even stone way too quick and relying on trading isn’t quite viable with current setup
- Mountable walls for your soldiers/citizens to fire from, also deeper/thicker walls that visibly connect and isnt just two distinct layers would be nice
- Different types of soldiers and/or ability to pick and choose what weapons they carry either at the soldier or building (barracks) level, for example only archers so youre not giving precious swords out to soldiers you want to keep at range
- Ability to restrict certain clothes and weapons to jobs. I don’t want citizens with swords while waiting for more weapons to be created so my soldiers can have them. Also, when units die, be them raiders, enemy army, or town soldiers, or villagers, would like them to drop or have a chance to drop their gear (swords, armor, etc.) so they can be reused. Not sure if citizens end up with swords after they stop being soldiers but it feels like I’m constantly losing swords!
- Ringing the bell during invasions/attacks doesnt seem to bring everyone inside the city walls, it really should it becomes super annoying when invading armies come and youre trying to stop your suicidal villagers from running outside the gates.
