Hey guys, fairly new here (and to the game) but I’ve been playing a few ARPGs off and on since about 2015. I’ve had an idea bouncing around my head for a few weeks since reaching endgame, and wanted to throw it out there to see what you guys think.
Path of Exile (and PoE 2, since its EA release) has been a regular in my repertoire since I first discovered it back in ~2016. While I don’t particularly like a lot of things about that game and its live service model, I do appreciate mapping and the feeling that I am able to customize the experience to a degree. What would you think of an item (craftable or a drop) that applies modifiers to a specific waystone or the next SR opened? I think loot biases, map density, monster modifiers, player modifiers, etc. could all be interesting to play with.
can’t say for certain it’s “exactly” like that, but
Devs are already planning to introduce ways to manipulate “stuff” in FoA
so mayhaps there is a chance it/similar might already be in the works, or if nothing else that feature can allow it to be possible to be added later or through moar moar
As usual with this game, my lack of reading comprehension returns to bite me in the ass That feature seems great and I’m looking forward to seeing the finished product.
