I want to start by saying; good job this game is a joy to play, and I find myself thinking of new ways to do things.
That being said there are some problems as it stands right now. One being the spread you have. I made towns mini towns and spread them out to cover different areas on the map, I have made them just one large town. Sadly, the problem is the same; people have to move. The way it is now it is entirely random where villagers are living. This is a problem because they sometimes spend 90% of their time going from home to work. The other problem I am seeing is past the 200 pop limit builders (I had 20 of them at 500 pop) really have to be told to do anything. By having to be told I have to prioritize every project to get any project done.
You need to add a building maintenance to the equation. I find myself having to replant every building over time to keep them from being condemned. And in reality, I can make enough wood planks with the current production level to maintain everything.
Storage. Even with the cooper I find myself making a ton of storage spaces. Even then I find I run out of space. It seems the higher you go in tier the less space you have even with everything upgraded. Maybe add another upgrade option in tier 4? or just add another type of building?
The trading post: Having peons move goods, from your storage to the post seems like a good idea the issue I have seen is sometimes they get lost; do not move anything. You should make this tied to your global storage, granted I understand why you are doing it this way; that being said I do not agree with in Teir 3 having 2 people in the post, the building needs to upgrade beyond tier 3. And can we have the logistics wagons handle some of the load? It makes more sense to move a TON of product with a wagon rater then with a wheelbarrow.
Just some thoughts,
Odin.
