Storage Cart upgrades

I enjoy FF; and you do a great job with this game; thanks!
I only wanted to point out that the original Storage Cart becomes useless after establishing settlement: So, I propose to the designers that the Storage Cart should be upgraded along with the Town Center. As the Town Center upgrades, so should the Cart; so that it could continue being more useful. Examples: Increase speed to twice it’s original speed; upgrade it into a portable work camp [ with 2 workers] to reach certain resources that as yet have no road connecting to settlement: OR, increase the speed, and use it as military support { portable Barracks}, OR, be able to assign the Cart as a MINING asset for distant mines, with a crew of 4 ; and shelter for crew.
Perhaps you will consider these ideas and apply them for the Storage Cart.
Thanks for your consideration and work already done on FF.

Once I have storage facilities I use it to store arrows only but yes, upgrading it to hold more would be nice. Using it to help collect resources would be nice but the workers ignore it.

I really enjoy FF; and there is one thing I have wondered about. Why is there not an upgrade for the Storage Cart that we start with? After upgrading the Town Center to level 2; the Storage Cart becomes useless. If the Storage Cart was upgradeable, then it would continue to be useful.
Examples: For instance it’s speed could be increased to 3 times its original, and it could be a mobile work camp to harvest resources that are not road connected.
OR: It could become a military asset by being a mobile barracks.
OR: It could be upgraded for each Town Center upgrade with varying attributes.
Rather than becoming essentially a paperweight.

Actually it can be used to deliver resources for big building upgrades. For example to upgrade town center to tier 4 you need a lot of resources and you can use cart for this purpose - setup minimum limits in it for 245 bricks, 200 iron, 200 planks and builders won’t have to go far.
PS. Though I’m not sure you can put iron into the storage cart.

Wow, I’ve never thought of that before, nice mate! :grinning:

Also, I send it to where I sent workers to harvest trees/bushes, to cleared Raider Camps, to build sites, and anywhere involving stone not harvested by a Work Camp. Workers go from their building to the closest free storage space, either to drop off or pick up supplies, and the storage cart counts as such.
I routinely have it make passes through my city end-to-end to serve as a mobile Storehouse/Root Cellar. I usually target Hunters and Foragers and Fishermen Cabins, but remote fields or Arbors can be targeted to save travel time. I honestly use it so much that I lose track of where I have sent it.

I wonder, can it get destroyed by raiders, though? Cause this is why I was always afraid of sending it too far off.

Yes, it can be destroyed and you will lose everything it store so be careful and try to return it back under the town center before spring which is the usual time for raiders to arrive.

Ok, and if it gets destroyed, can it be rebuilt like ordinary buildings?

It cannot be rebuilt
