all i can request is.:
1.Please remove or fix fertility of the crops field because after 3-4 years the fertility will decrease into 50%.
2.Please fix the loading screen of the game because it’s very slow.
3.I want to suggest that every Tier upgrade it must be new buildings and additional design of the buildings.
4. additional stone because the stone is always the problem.
5.why the villagers always need meat not the fish and vegetable.
6. please increase the fish.
Welcome aboard!
Any raw material can be scarce to nonexistent. I have had games with very little stone and games where I’ve got it coming out my ears! My problem is that most of the time I have to scrounge and scrounge for gold or coal or sand. So it probably depends on the seed you start out with. And also on the area you are playing, and the level of difficulty you are playing.
Welcome to the forum.

Are you using the compost that is made in your compost yards to help fertilise your fields? Also are you planting clover, beans and peas to help?
-
Game is still being optimised so hopefully that will improve.
-
Hm, every building that you can upgrade does change its appearance.

Somewhere on your map there should be a megarock so just keep exploring to find it. Crate are working on adding quarries to the game which should help with the stone problem further down the line.
-
Meat is just the name used for your food in general if that’s what you’re talking about. Fish, vegetables, grain, etc, won’t show up seperately at the top of the screen.

Don’t put too many fisher folk in a fishing area. That should help. And fish will usually reappear after a while if you stop fishing an area.
One of my favorite things to do with a new game is to generate a whole bunch of maps just to see how much variety there is in the described map-types.
So I can say from my experience that there’s a lot of randomness in the FF maps when it comes to Resources. Re-rolling the same Idyllic Valley map got me a map with 1 Deer, 3 Wolves and 2 Bears, maps with 0 Fish, maps with 0 Deer, maps with 0 Coal, maps with Sand or Clay or Iron coming out my ears - and maps that were truly ‘Idyllic’ with all resources represented.
Same experience with the Lakes, Plains, and Arid Hills maps: there seems to be a lot of randomness in what you actually get in the way of Resources. Mind you, in some cases it’s simply a case of the Resource you are looking for being hidden somewhere on the edge of the map where it’s not easy to get to . . .
Note: my experience is all with the 7.6 version of the game.
It would be useful to have a tab that allows you to manage the state of warehouses (moving between warehouses)
Someone to plant new forests
A stone mine, or quarry would be good. Both can be tier 3 or 4, but should be possible.
Trading should be possible for more items. If you have 30,000 wheat, you should be able to sell it.
Smart manufacturing would be useful e.g. Always stock pile 20 bows, and 5000 arrows no more.
I find one work camp, given a decent area to work in, will never run out of trees to cut. By the time they make it to the edge of the circle, the trees in the middle have regrown sufficiently for the process to start again.
Mining is something the devs are working on, for now the giant ‘megarock (1200 units)’ should suffice.
Can you not trade wheat to the visiting merchants? I’ve not paid attention but I feel what they will buy from you changes each time they visit.
Production Limits (smart manufacturing) have been added in latest build v0.8 available on public test. The patch will drop to live in the next week or so.
The devs are making great progress.
The merchants don’t buy certain things, they do sell wheat but don’t buy it.
Expanded merchant system would be great for future releases. I look forward to mining.
On low wood maps, the work camp do run out of wood.
I could build more with less people working in them.
I have a map right now (Idyllic Valley, Pioneer level) that has THREE megarocks! Bonus!
Some people think planting decorative trees en masse is a pain in the sitting-down place, but I don’t mind it at all, once I have enough money to cover it. I have 2 work camps, and every so often, I fill in the blanks where the trees have been cut with decorative trees, and I never run out of wood. I plant oak, maple, and birch. I don’t usually plant spruce, because of its lower yield. I can have full employment in 2 work camps and never run out.
In one game I had one Trader prepared to buy wheat, but only that once and he didn’t have enough Gold on hand to buy as much as I wanted to sell!
It may be one of those low percentage chance Trades, because in a half-dozen games I’ve never seen it again.
Thoroughly enjoy the game!
Is there any chance on Pacifist mode that we can still get the Boar/Wolves and Bears? They do provide an added spice to the playthrough plus give more meat/leather ratio than the deer do
- I know I could easily go to raid mode to deal with animals but I’m not interested in war/fighting element of the game.
Be good for an opportunity to diversify the variety of wildlife. Same with only having cows at present. Imagine a hog running down the road causing mayhem to get to the market!
The terrain of the seed could dictate what type you get, ie, snow landscape would have penguins/seals/polar bears etc (and when they do a water DLC you could include whales) Desert you could have lions, camels, cacti and the occasional oasis. Which brings to the question - is there going to be more put into the weather types? At the moment its predictable and easily worked around when it comes to farming, be good to have a draught occur for a few years causing potential fires to occur, or constant rain causing flooding if you’ve settled near marshes, blizzards that could cause avalanches.
Also, maybe be able to rotate items more freely, at the moment my city looks like a cave mans version of New York with how straight cut it is - sans the concrete.
Note: I do realise this game is still in its infancy so I’m not expecting instant changes or upgrades, just a lot of potential and I’m excited to see where FF goes!
I second that in all respects. Pacifism applies basically to the avoidance of warfare, and I’m with you on that. But by those of us who play in Pacifist mode not having access to wolves, boars, and bears, and the food benefits they provide, I feel we are being penalized unnecessarily.
Please let us have boars, bears, and wolves. It is possible to deal with them without the presence of very expensive soldiers! And I know I need the food boost they provide.
I just posted this same thought on another thread. Would love to have the ability to hunt those animals without dealing with raiders…
