In the English setting, the search function of the technology tree starts content matching every time three characters are entered, which is fine. However, in the Chinese setting (simplified and traditional Chinese), there is a problem: some technologies have names consisting of only two characters, such as “guilds” which is translated as “行会” in Chinese. They will not be matched in the search, and the corresponding technology nodes will not be highlighted. It is recommended to make targeted optimizations to the search logic of the technology tree in Chinese, such as starting content matching after only one character is entered. Because almost every character in Chinese has its own meaning.
Nice find, thanks for reporting this. This will be fixed in the next patch.
