New player here. Loving the game so far but having a hard time properly matching the build I would like to play with the gear I am finding.
That being said, I would love some recommendations please (updated for FoA) for a Tactician build utilizing duel pistols/Cadence and either of the following: (a) pure Pierce damage; or (b) a hybrid of Pierce and Elemental damage.
Please provide Grimtools links if possible.

Just swap RF points to cadence points accordingly in the leveling guide, should not be that hard its not rocket science
All I see is the build calculator. There is no “guide” to follow.

Yeah adjust the paladin guide to tactician by swapping RF points to Cadence points etc
Can you please explain the devotion path for the Tactician build calc model?
I do not understand why this build would take Toad when it is virtually useless to a Tactician with Aether damage and such.

It’s not taken for aether dmg, just to get necessary green/purple points. Also the beast racial dmg and 3% adcth are not wasted
You must look at the big picture
Ranged - you really want Hydra
Pierce - you really want Azrakaa and Unknown Soldier
You need green and purple for that
What devotions give both green and purple?
Toad and Quill - which one has most useful stats for the build you are making? Ans: Toad
I see new players missing this, they wanna take for instance “I am gonna do cold damage I am gonna take cold damage devotions all the way” and then they either miss defenses or enough affinity to take the tier-3 devotion(s). Or both

That being said, why doesn’t your devotion path include Kraken please. Attack speed for duel pistols would seem an absolute must.

Perhaps you looked at the wrong grim tools and got things confused/mixed up.
But you wrote
