The Fluffy Squishy - Pet Conjurer :3

Probably gonna take a bit of time till I’ll face her. She/He doesn’t look that HC friendly

What if you swap to a devotion like this? Light of Empyreon 5% to all max res is a massive damage mitigation for pets. Going from 80% to 85% is a 25% increase in damage mitigation for pets IF you can get that much res.

If following my Birb build you are pretty much immortal against Cally as long as you avoid her Sand attack. Panther + Extra point in Amatok can be traded for Ulo. You lose a bit of pet damage, but keep everything else and if it works, the dispel should more than make up for lost damage.

I will try it myself, but can’t right now. Got too many builds to test, so will have to put it on list till later.

You can duplicate the Char and make one of them SC using GDStash btw. Good for testing purposes.

As for going Empyrion, it won’t help against Callagadra since most of her damage that causes problems for us is Physical and Pierce, which combined with her RR, we won’t be anywhere near the 80% Cap.

You could however take the extra Blue point from the Crossroads and Complete the Empyrion constellation for the proc. Maybe the damage reduction from it will help :undecided:. Yes you do have to get hit while staying close to Cally inorder to proc it…

I have a question, nearly got all of the items required for a conjurer build but… Why Shadowfiend’s Cord and not Voidmancer’s Cord?
Is it because you wanted pierce resist for pets and +1 to occult? And what about Nosferattis, does that even qualify for this?

Correct, it is for the pierce res and +1 to occultist.

Nosferattis, imo is kind of not worth it unless either you are going for a bleed build in specific (even then doubtful) or have trouble with Mindcontrol (which only a handful of enemies have)

im a pet lover … i used to have the 2 birds build in AoM but now i have to farm the bysmiel set … no doubt is the more powerful … but i always wondering why i ahve no seeing a build for the must powerful pet in game … the primal spirit … can someone point me to that or give me ideas … i think that with fluffy vengueance build with physical and piercing RR … and other thing is just me or anyone else thinks that brithorn ground slam DoT should be bleeding instead of internal trauma … is just that dont synergies with anything … also i think that internal trauma DoT should not be in the game at all … it should be replace just for bleeding damage

I dont have enough posts to put up links, but search for Physical/Bleed conjuror. It is a primal spirit focused build that was posted 2 days ago.

Fluffy’s Vengeance uses Primal Spirit as a bonus rather than focus on it. And in its current state, performs rather poorly against the FG’s Superbosses. Think of it as the laziest build rather than the most powerful :stuck_out_tongue: (physical damage based pet builds seem to perform rather poorly atm)

That is what you are looking for if you want a Primal Spirit focused build. It is also pretty powerful.

And, changing the IT on Ground Slam to Bleed would make more sense, yes.

Hi, could you please elaborate? I killed Scorv for the achievement then I saw this.
If it’s only about Barrowholm augments, I should be ok with another char and the shared stash, no?
Thanks.

They also have some pretty good items for sale that can be used in pet builds.

Unfortunately Augments can’t be put in the transfer stash :frowning:

I’ve finally hit 94 on Ultimate and equiped all the items and it’s just crazy! I’m just doing campaign for now but I can feel the nerfhammer hitting this.
Great build though, thanks a lot! I’m enjoying the game very much.

Glad that you like it

And this is the nerfed version, it was even crazier before :stuck_out_tongue:

So hopefully that also means that no more nerfs anytime soon.

I will replace Barrowholm Ravager’s Eye augments by Bysmiel’s Control.

Coven’s Wit would probably be better than Bysmiel’s Control.

So augments order would be : barrowholm > coven > bysmiel. Thanks again!

Aye.

/4char.

Hey Maya, I’m working toward the full Birbs build, but trying to acquire more pieces, really enjoying the guide and play style for a change. I had a question if its good use Stronghold Defender instead of Cataclysm’s Eye. I have both but don’t have to spend any points in spirit to use the shield and it gives lots of resists and also has the plus skills and gives you a shield for any oh crap moments. What’s your thoughts on that? Thanks!

You will be losing the extra Stun Resist and Cooldown Reduction from Cat’s Eye.

Plus, shields aren’t useful to us and this particular one does not have the resistances that we need. Your chaos/Aether res will be worse with the shield for example.

The only thing that we can use from it is the 8% physical res. But imo, that is not worth losing the rest of the stuff from Cat’s eye.

I must be doing something wrong. I recreated your Birds build because I wanted to see how it performs in 150-170 crucible but certain waves are just a total pain. I find that the DPS just was not quite there for the final wave also. I was not able to burst down a single superboss before the others swarmed me a proceeded to delete the pets. They just could not last very long. So either I suck or I don’t know.
I played a cabalist before and your build has quite a few less active skills so it’s not like it is difficult to play. This was with 4 buffs, no banner btw. Any pointers on what I might be doing wrong from the top of your head? Don’t have a video I could share at this point.

Thanks

No idea what you are doing wrong, because I do just fine even without blessings/banner. So you shouldn’t have any problems with blessings.

Also, there are no superbosses in the crucible…

Btw, some general pointers on Crucible based on how I play:

  1. Pick Crucible of the Dead. It is the best map choice for us.
  2. Place the Vanguard banner in Bottom-Left corner. Skip this part if you don’t use banners.
  3. Get your blessings. Skip this part too if you don’t use blessings.
  4. Camp the Bottom-Left Spawn. Most of the things that you want dead ASAP, spawn here.
  5. Don’t stand or make your pets stand in Kubacabra’s blood pools if playing without blessings/banner.
  6. Don’t stand in Gravathul’s Chaos pools.
  7. Destroy Aleksander’s Aether Crystal formations using Pet Attack Command to focus them down.
  8. On wave 161, head to Top-Right Spawn and kill the Healers that spawn here. If Aleksander comes to you before you can kill them, then quickly run to the Bottom-Left Spawn and fight and kill him there. It will take a while for the healers to get there, so you should have plenty of time.
  9. On wave 163, head to Top-Left and then lure the spawns to Mid if playing with Banner or just fight and kill them at their spawn if not. While fighting the 3 Bosses in the middle, remember to take out the Healers first. Otherwise they will heal the Bosses quite alot, making the wave last too long.
  10. On wave 167, head to Top-Left and kill the boss’s first form ASAP. Try to take out his second form before wave 168 starts for an easier time.
  11. On wave 169, either stay within the banner radius and focus Theodin/Korvaak first OR, if playing without banner, head to Bottom-Right Spawn and kill Anasteria as quickly as you can. Ideally you want Theodin/Korvaak to be dead before wave 170 starts.
  12. On wave 170, go back to Bottom-Left and kill whatever spawns there. Then just kill the other 3 however you want. Just take care not to die to Aleksander’s Aether meteors to the face.
  13. Collect your loot, speak to Lokarr and go for round 2.

My bad, what I meant was the Nemesis type bosses.
