The Fluffy Squishy - Pet Conjurer :3

Btw, edited out the previous post to include some general pointers that might be helpful.

Anything more specific would require more info on exactly what is causing problems for you.

I just saw, great pointers. Now I realize that my issues are perhaps less with the class itself but rather insufficient experience in crucible in general.

BTW, as far as banners are concerned, do pets need to stay within the area of effect or is it enough if I stand in it? I assume the former but not sure.

Your pets need to stay within the radius. You don’t have to.

So… with the forums getting rolled back due to the data loss, I kind of have to redo the Beginner’s Guide again. Everything else has been updated.

Ok, thanks to @DirePenguin’s assistance (link), the Guide is back online :smiley:

How do you deal with aetherial damage on pets? Like vs Cronley, pets melt easily. Birdsof Bysmiel build.

Um… I am guessing you don’t have the completed build? Because not even Aleksander/Anasteria make a dent and get mowed down easily.

Unless you are talking about the Budget Fluffy build.

I have the completed build now. This one:

Tried it numerous times with Cronley. Pets hp will go down fast, but not necessarily kill them. I should kite them away from those green stuff that Cronley throws around on the ground.

I made a vid of it.

I just tried Cronely just to see how bad it was and this was the result: https://i.imgur.com/JKFiI0l.jpg

Tried a few more runs and pets never even came close to dying. They always stayed at above 50% Hp.

How much pet Aether resistance do you have on the Bysmiel’s Influence Ring?

Since it fluctuates between 20-30%, that could be the reason. I GDStash all my builds and pick the best rolled items. So in my case my pets have 30% Aether & Chaos resistances.

Anyways, if you need a fast way to get more Aether/Chaos res for pets, Mender’s Powder on Jewelry should do the trick. Just replacing one Mogdrogen’s Blessing with it should be enough. But that does come with the loss of DPS though.

Hi thanks for the reply. The Bysmiel Influence rolled with 26% aether resistance. I could replace the mantle of mogdrogen with beastcaller’s for a quick fix, but that will greatly impact dps.

By the way what did you bind in #5 skill bar in your screen shot?

Yeah, that would explain the pets having trouble.

Also, Purified Salt in weapon/off-hand or Mythical FiendFlesh mantle are other options. Btw, with Beastcaller’s shoulders you will need to come up with extra chaos resistance for the player since Mog’s provides it while beastcaller’s does not.

Mender’s powder from Malmouth Resistance is probably still your best option.

By the way what did you bind in #5 skill bar in your screen shot?

Rune of Displacement. It is a Medal Augment introduced in FG. It lets you teleport a short distance. I did not include it in the build since it is not really necessary for most content and you can substitute other movement skills in its place if you want to.

I will add it in to the OP.

Thanks again for this build. Easily farming ultimate SR 75-76 now :smiley:

Time for Elemental Version of Fluffy’s Vengeance :stuck_out_tongue:

Elemental Fluffy: https://www.grimtools.com/calc/xZyeB0qZ

Also updated the Beginner’s Guide a bit. Now it also has a step by step info on devotion point allocation for the Ishtak + Tree of Life setup in the main build.

Any way to set pets’ stance to aggressive automatically?

Unfortunately, no. You have to do it manually, every session and for each pet.

Maybe someone will find this useful
Changing pets to Aggressive pisses me off too so I’ve tried this macro in Autohotkey and it works
(shift + tabs -> clicks on 5 consecutive pet portraits and selects ‘aggressive’)

+Tab::    ;shift + tab
   MouseMove, 16, 60 ;coordinates of a point from a pet potrait
   Send {Click, right} ;^they depend on your resolution and UI Scale
   Sleep, 200
   Click

   MouseMove, 16, 120
   Send {Click, right}
   Sleep, 200
   Click

   MouseMove, 16, 180
   Send {Click, right}
   Sleep, 200
   Click

   MouseMove, 16, 240
   Send {Click, right}
   Sleep, 200
   Click

   MouseMove, 16, 300
   Send {Click, right}
   Sleep, 200
   Click
Return

You need to adjust the coordinates (get them from a screenshot using Paint for example) and may want to change number of pets although it’s not necessary. Install Autohotkey, run/compile the script. I couldn’t limit the scope to Grim Dawn window, so it unfortunately works while not in game too and you may want to change shift + tab to something else if you use this key combination outside Grim Dawn and want the script to run permanently (I mean till you shut down the computer)

tqFan. Thanks man will do that if my Corsair macro can’t handle the mouse movement coordinates.

@Maya
Saw this build earlier. Can kill fast too. How does it compare to your other builds?

I don’t use any mods/GDstash/addons, so I can’t really personally test the build with some of the gears missing.

That looks like a worse version of Sigatrev’s Elemental Beastcaller Conjurer :stuck_out_tongue:

thank you for the beginners guide update :slight_smile: I’ve been recommending this build to my viewers that are new to the game - mostly for the beginners section.
