The Fluffy Squishy - Pet Conjurer :3

Do you think I can replace the OH with my Bound Wraith?

Also, I will probably demand you since I really like Chillmane and you are basically replacing him.

Yes, you can use Bound Wraith, but try to get the Familiars to 26/16 as they gain an extra projectile at lvl 26.

I love Chillmane too. It is where the “Fluffy” in the title comes from. But FG shattered my dreams :frowning:

Let’s demand Crate then. I think we have a case.

Knowing the devs, it would probably just result in nerfing Familiars :stuck_out_tongue:

Btw,

Took about 3 mins. No potions/consumables used. Rather easy for a Superboss

With the flying dodo build this boss literally melts my pets (and ofc my conjurer too).

Yeah, Beastcaller builds will have a rather hard time. Good thing Familiars simply don’t die :stuck_out_tongue:

I don’t know if this one is supposed to be a nemesis or superboss, but it is unique to Shattered Realms and is more or less a damage sponge boss. Meaning, it is no real threat to us. Just posting it incase someone runs across it. Let your pets kill it while you just stand there debuffing

EDIT: Now that I have beaten pretty much all the content (that we know of so far) with the main build, what remains is to try and polish Alternate Versions and maybe see how deep into Shattered Realms I can go. Unless something changes, expect the main build (Fluffy Squishy) to be complete.

Maya, you are lucky to collect all new Bysmiel set + Dagger so quickly after release of the expansion.

What about Mythical Nosferatis and it’s 100% mind control resist on pet, is there any danger in the FG that justifies wearing this belt?

Eh, lucky? I am a filthy GD-Stasher :stuck_out_tongue:

And haven’t seen any reason for Nosferatis so far unless you are going for Bleed based pet build and want the Bleed dmg it provides.

 that’s good news so Mythical Shadowfiend Cord is the way to go.

Did you try to keep Mythical Voidmancer Cord? Or +1 to all skills + pets’ bonuses on M. Shadowfiend cord are superior?

ShadowFiend > Voidmancer imo.

so i when to that website and did the devosion there and i was looking at the ones you have and i came up with this road is it ok to fallow it?

crossroad’s ascendent
Shepherd’s crook
crossroad’s Chaos
Jackal
crossroad’s Eldritch
scholar’s light
Quill
Manticore
Empty throne
crossroad’s primordial
Sailor’s guide
(4) Amatok the spirit of winter
Behemoth
mogdrogen the wolf
Murmur, mistress of rumors
remove: Jackal,crossroad chaos and Eldritch
Leviathan

Should work

i have kind of slightly off-topic question… do i HAVE TO use the pet attack skill when playing pet builds? it feels so clunky to me and i dont like it. Can i just let the pets automatically choose targets and i just spam the skills? you can answer this question assuming im playing this exact build.

I have move on my left click and right click is frailty. only time I use the pet attack skill is once in a while to get them to break doors from across a room or the rare occasion I want to send the pets after something specific. They do generally attack the mob/mobs I cast frailty on though when I’m running around.

Does this apply to most pet builds or just a few like this one?

I’m by no means a expert at grim dawn pet builds though but all the ones I’ve played you kinda guide them to attack groups by casting a debuff or other skill at the mob/mobs. You can also just run through and not cast anything and just let them do their own thing and they kinda just run wherever they want. Which are usually the mobs that arent directly in your way since they follow slightly behind you.

edit, usually I’m casting frailty at mobs in front of me as i’m running to get them to run ahead and clear the path as I’m going.

You don’t have to use pet attack, but it is often worth using. I bind it to right click. It’s definitely a lot more awkward to use if it’s not a mouse button.

You know that you want to do it :stuck_out_tongue:

The only time I use pet attack is when I want them to focus on someone in particular. Otherwise I just let them do their own thing :stuck_out_tongue:

Also, given we are going for Familiars, if you are using the pet attack command, remember to first click on the ground near the enemy you want them to focus and then on the enemy unit itself. What it does is make your Familiars move close to the enemy and then attack, which inturn makes all their projectiles hit the same enemy creating a “shotgun” effect for more damage.
