The Fluffy Squishy - Pet Conjurer :3

If you are a fellow auto-attack enjoyer I suggest making a new topic to solicit opinions.

There was some discussion of it in the latest “Top 21” thread, eg ⭐ Top 20 Softcore builds, End of Forgotten Gods Edition [1.2.1.6] - #147 by mad_lee

My experience is that there are still a lot of very good melee-auto builds, but they are not quite as OP as they were a couple of years ago.

I will take your advice, thank you. The last time I was playing seriously was in 2020, so I am very out of date.

please carry me thru the new expansion maya

Mostly would say to check on builds since some items have changed drastically like Nosferratis belt converting pet damage into physical, which is both good and bad depending upon the setup’s original damage type :3

Once the Public Test version goes live, will have to update some of my builds as well…

I just realised that the 1.3 playtest changed the 4 piece bonus on the mythical Wildcaller Set to give +1 summon limit for Hellhound in addition to Briarthorn:

Thoughts on changing back to full Beastcaller instead of brirbs?

Wildcaller is a blue set with +1 to shaman skills.
I guess you meant Beastcaller.

Oh if only it had another piece instead of amulet, then we could have x2 all pets on Conjurer.
Dreams of zoo…

Been thinking about it. Waiting until playtest is over before I give it a proper go.

Also, welcome to the forums .

Yep, meant Beastcaller

Hi, great work for this nice Conjurer build. I like pet too, i level up a Death knight and pet are a nice dps add but didn’t try a full pet build yet.

Have you tryed the Cabalist and Ritualist too because the Necromancer have nice pet too with his skeletons and his big poison blob ?

Witch only pet build do you think have the more dps in end game beetween Conjurer, Cabalist and Ritualist ? or may be it’s another pet build i don’t know.

The best Conjurer is the Summoner. Skeletons are quite damaging, but they’re not suitable for fighting Kallagdra, and the rest of the endgame content will cover them.

Thanks for your answer. You mean, the best Summoner Build is the Class Conjurer, because i don’t find the Summoner Class.

Sad for me i realy like my skeletons, so i’ll begin with the Conjurer first for my pet build and i’ll try the other later.

Perhaps the Russian translation into English is poor? Please, here’s Conjurer, how come it’s not here? )) Conjurer, Level 100 (GD 1.2.1.6) - Grim Dawn Build Calculator
Who you play and who you level up is your business and right. )) You asked which summoner is the BEST, and I can confidently say that Conjurer is still the most balanced, stable, and versatile. So, if we’re talking about endgame results, it’s my choice. And I have six years of experience collecting pets.

Well, there are two skeleton builds that are in the 20 best builds for softcore, and are the Chaos skellies Cabalist and the Vitality skellies Ritualist. Personally i’m running a Ghol’s Acid skellies Ritualist and i’ve cleared all content kinda easily, except Callagadra (killed, yes, but had to resummon a lot) so keep going with skeletons my friend, and they will kill anything in sight XD

I’ve been trying Fire Conjurer these days. Not fully developed jet but managed to get 48% Phys Res for pets, maxed the others, Briarthorns and dogs are shredding through everything, around 3,5k health regen. I’ll start with superbosses soon, but pretty good so far

Nice to know, i need to finish my Death Knight to level 100 before starting the Conjurer class.
