Is the difference that big? If so, switching to Normal instead of Veteran would probably be the simplest solution.
I havent even tried it yet but I hear its hard. I cant allow myself to play normal instead of veteran.
Playing on veteran, the beginning was kinda hard, but everything was easily manageable. Once you get the familiars lightning attack it gets really good.
No updates to the build for 1.1.4.0.
Callagadra times became 16 mins instead of 17. I don’t know why. Maybe Zantai heard my prayers and nerfed its dmg against Pets even more?
Crucible with Extra Spawns, without Blessings/Banner is still a cakewalk. But you can die if you fall asleep on the keyboard. So don’t do that.
SR 75+ is still the same as before. But I can’t speak for pushing into like SR 85+ or something.
What would you recommend for leveling path for me if I start at lvl 1 and I have a lokarr set + Clarity pots?
The same one in my guide for Occultist,but with the added change that you should use the points you’d have spent on Hellhound skills to instead get a 16/16 Briarthorn and then Put 1 point in Wind Devil + 12/12 Raging Tempest.
Then later on, like much later, get Primal Bond inplace of Possession.
Also note that starting on Normal instead of Veteran is recommended.
Hey Maya thank you very much for the great build. I want your opinion about something. Do you recommend if I keep the bysmiel set but change the medal to beastcaller talisman and change wind devil to primal spirit to take full advantage of the beastcaller 4 piece set bonus? Thank you again.
No. 2x Familiar is what makes it work as well as it does. If you want a beastcaller’s briarthorn build, it is possible, but will perform worse comparatively.

Added a Lazier build that uses Craftable pants and with a bit different devotion setup and 80% Physical resistance.
It is capable of killing Crate of Entertainment in under 1 minute and does Callagadra in 15 mins.
EDIT: Adding reason for those wondering.
I had to remove Blizzard to make room for Typhos for the extra phys res. It resulted in more crit dmg for pets and less AoE, which mean less time running in Crate fight as less crates spawned = faster kill.
For Callagadra, the phys res from Belt + Typhos made pets survive a bit longer that even with the loss of damage from Blizzard, I was able to shave off a minute from my original time.
Cally still eats your pets for breakfast, lunch and dinner. So no fast kills here I am afraid.
For general crucible/SR which devotion setup would you recommend?
For everything Lazy Birb > Birds of Bysmiel. The major difference is not the devotion setup, but the pants. You can still make do with Legendary ones, but the entire point of the different devotion setup was so that I could get 80% Physical resistance. (GT shows less, but only because it shows the average values of stats on items)
Just curious, any reason you don’t put 1 pt into Conjure Primal Spirit? Seems like a nice bit of added DPS for a single pt.
Also, I found a legendary crossbow, silver something, that adds +2 to all skills but is 2handed. For lvling from 55-94 would you think it would be better to use that crossbow for bonus +2 to all skills, or 1h weapon and offhand with pet bonuses?
You can use the bow if nothing better comes up.
As for Primal Spirit, too high of a CD to be useful. Also does a weird mix of damage types.
Also one extra button press and you can see in my screenshots that my Skillbar is maxed out. I don’t want to switch between them mid fight every now then.

However do note that I use Lokarr’s Spoils set in that because I wanted to show that you could use it to level 1-100 on a single mastery pet build. Well Maya I just wanted to say this build is truly amazing. I have never fought Archmage Aleksander before and believe it or not I killed him in under 20 seconds it’s not even funny. The only thing I admit I changed in the build is instead of using wind devil I put 1 point in primal spirit and the rest I put them in buffs so I summoned that extra pet on him and he died and that pet still had good extra 4-5 seconds to live
