I would like to acknowledge a point that the story and dialogue might not be the main flagship of Grim Dawn, and this has been discussed and feedbacked in quite a few reviews on youtube.
But what that email was saying was… very off the point to say at least,

Grim Dawn’s story and lore are the best in the genre that I have come across. One sign of this is that people are genuinely interested in various loose ends - what will happen with Alice, Hagarond etc.

I appreciated how GD isn’t woke at all; no agendas, no strange flags, no references to anything but the lore and story in dialogue (well, mostly…looking at you, Elsa) but c’mon this is next level. Maybe the dude was trolling?

Wait, Elsa? The one who got captured by Cronley and likely had to watch Cronley’s men do unspeakable things to her compatriots? The one who clearly told Mornay not to follow her (because who knows who else was in his sphere of influence) and killed him out of sheer self-preservation?
How do you even get “I am Alpha female” out of that? How do you have the mind space to write 1,750 words where all of them are likely just as wrong as Elsa’s story?
I know I did something similar, but I was in a really bad head-state and was too irritable to take a deep breath and just wait for the subsequent balance changes.
Lesson being: Knowing what to post, and knowing what to delete, can make a world of difference.
