Melee can crit but therefor it can miss, too.
Both would be overpowered.
Imagine a bow never missing with chance to crit.
TQ isn’t that hard either.^^

That is very sad, wish i could just enable OA/DA for them in the dbr somewhere, but i guess its much more than that.
also. DoT can’t crit in titan quest.
this is why melee class is overpowered in titan quest imo. simply for the fact that they’re the only ones that can crit. and getting offensive ability is quite easy. there’s also the options of reducing enemy defensive ability.

Ah finally, no more “Stone Heaps” that resemble wooden chests.
i have long wondered why Crate cant give us these monsters in game!
they were extinctified by the “Titan Smasher” long time ago!
Now i know!
New nemesis, please. Or super boss. Or new type of boss, Hyper Super Mega Extra Boss of doom.
by the way, i have realized that Titan Quests super bosses arent as strong as when compared to GD. I have been playing TQ non stop lately and I reached legendary with my berserker and these red bosses drop like candy:eek:
The devs need to know how to balance the game as the game becomes so much easy after normal difficulty
TQ doesn’t really have super bosses, but difficulty-restricted bosses, which are just regular bosses.
my bad should have compared them to nemesis level bosses.
Overall bosses in tq are weak and sadly that includes you to some extent. But boss designs are much better in tq, designs that I wish GD could port into their design pool. Imagine massive dragons and spiders in Cairn. A proper manticore and this time with wings! Totally a dream come true if it happens:cool: Sadly in GD we mostly have reskinned nemesis bosses:eek:
I do agree I suck because those stupid designers never made me smart. They chose to give me insect logic instead of human or at least animal logic. I should sue them…
This feels too subjective imo. TQ’s design are oriented toward general fantasies and real world popular myths. while GD’s leaning towards lovecraft/horror style monsters
I know there is a difference between the setting between games that affect design decisions but you can tell that gd could have avoided the reskins if they had more money;)
If they had more money, the first thing they’d do is banning USER_NAME_01. Right now they just can’t afford it, it’s way too expensive.
Zantai may have collected enough money from the current sale so dont count out your banning just yet.
on the other hand, Does anyone know what damage type manticore does. I think he/she is the most hard hitting enemy in game. Plus the most badass design too:cool:
I actually want a tq manticore pet in GD!
Iirc, it does poison, physical, lightning.
anyone get the “deep sea dart” weapon?
Dragons and other fantastical creatures don’t fit in Grim Dawn. They fit in TQ. So TQ boss design aren’t “better” than GD’s, they just have different art directions.
Also, Manticore deals bleeding as well with his paw pound attack. The crap resistance change in the Anniversary Edition made me aware of that.
Titan Quest also reskins enemies (Talos is just a much taller Colossus). And Nemeses being the way they are makes sense with the faction they are tied to, it would make no sense for them to have completely different designs than the faction they are in.
