TitanQuest.net Site

Strange. It’s working fine for me. I’ve just been posting there before I saw your post here.

Kreisher et al, I know you’ve been mirroring the site, but if you can’t buy the database what do you plan to do with the stuff you’ve been copying? Because I can see possible copyright problems with iEntry if you use any of the material without their permission.

Started working normally for me a few hours ago. Just out of the blue the pages began downloading instantaneously. Weird stuff.

Kriesher, any news on the negotiations? Have they managed to get back to you with a figure yet?

Hey, me too, this is great! Feel like I finally have titanquest.net back!

I spoke with them on again on Monday and was told they need another week to think about it. I’m guessing they’re trying to determine how much revenue they are still able to generate from the site before they give me a counter offer. I will keep everyone posted on how it turns out.

And it’s down again for me :undecided:

Yeap, gone for me too. Address thing just goes round and round without going anywhere. Still I guess we were lucky to have it up again for as long as we did if they were only trying to show they still had the database.

Same here. Went out a few hours ago. Kaput. Kablooey. Look on the bright side–at least it’s consistent in its inconsistency…

its back for now

Gee, it’s will it, won’t it, will it, won’t it be there time folks. Remember the RNG factor when trying to access!

The forum is sitting around with a flower saying, “She reads me, she reads me not…”

Frankly, I’m surprised it’s taking them this long to accept an offer for a site they were closing.

Depends if anyone else is offering doesn’t it? We don’t know if Kreisher is the only bidder or if there are others in the mix. If others then they’ll be playing all the bidders off against each other to get the best deal they can.

Just wanted to say thanks to everyone here for trying to save the TQ.net site as a resource. It seems to be up again today. I’m an old lurker over there, and a longtime TQIT addict. I hope this thread is not too inappropriate a place to ask how people currently playing the Steam version with the beta patch feel about the patch. I have mixed feelings about installing it as I am not very tech savy and who wants to lose toon progress and items, etc–I’d appreciate any feedback, and sorry if this is not the correct thread for this.

hedgewitch, you’ll probably find more info on Nordic’s changes in this thread:

Thanks! I’ll take my question over there. And thanks again, especially to Kreisher for the efforts to get TQ.net back up.

Any news Kreisher or are they still not talking to you yet?

Still haven’t been able to get a response. The guy I need to talk with either hasn’t been in the office for the past week+ or is avoiding me. Not the most professional company unfortunately. I’ll let everyone know if/when I’m able to get in touch with them.

What is the latest news Kreisher? Does it seems they will contact with you?

I spoke with their operations manager, who explained that they are “Very busy” with other things right now and will get back to me with a response “When things slow down.” I increased my bid a couple weeks ago, but that didn’t seem to make a difference. From what I can tell selling the site simply doesn’t rank high on their priority list. I’ll continue to call in once a week with the hope I’ll eventually get this resolved. Not much more I can do until they are ready to re-engage. The waiting game continues…

I hate companies…
