I’ve got it. That wasn’t in my list of mods I shared from my Google Drive on the TQ forums?
BTW, +1 for Google Drive as the host. It’s free, and has lots of space, that’s why I use it.
Good to hear Flix. Yeah, I was having a look at Google Drive last night and does seem like a possible solution.
Kreisher, maybe I need to look at One Drive as well. I’ve got that on my PC, but don’t use it.
TitanCalc AE also safely stored it seems by someone else so hopefully we’ll be able to keep that going to.
I have used dropbox for my Patchfix for all those years without any problems, but google drive should work as well.
No offense, Kreisher, but that’s how kirmiziperfect started as well and look where we are now…
I’d definitely go the big third party host route that doesn’t hinge on one person keeping it up!
Well, there is something in that Malgardian, but also remember if it wasn’t for one person’s vision we wouldn’t have had the TQ.net forum and wouldn’t have GD to play around with. If there are several sites that people can get downloads from then that has to be better than relying on just one site surely. Not sure how Google Drive works, but I know when I visited Dikkie’s GD build liist on Google there was a warning that it might be taken down soon, presumably because he hasn’t been active with it for a while. If that’s the case then even a big name host might delete the content.
You can always go with a shared hosting service and host it yourself for about $3-5/month, depending on space needed. It’s possible you might be able to pay for it with ads on the site.
For example, https://www.bluehost.com/products/shared or https://www.hostgator.com/web-hosting
As I said, I never had problems with Dropbox in the 5 years I’ve used it for hosting the Patchfix. Maybe Google Drive handles things differently.
Thanks for this Flix. I’ve downloaded it, though the page says it has a problem with previewing it.
Think I’ve worked out how to do it, but before I upload the whole lot and find I’ve done it wrong can someone try downloading this TQIT Legion of Champions mod to see if it works correctly please?
It worked for me. 58 MB download.
Ah, good. Thanks for doing that Cavar.
I can upload the rest of the files then and provide links to them over on the TQF website.
Hello guys! I was one of the TQ players on the old forum. Do we have any TQ dedicated forum? With guides, modes and challenges? Or that era is dead? I am asking because GD can’t give me back the feel that TQ had :))
About time stormyboy.
Sent you a PM with the link back in April.
Lots of the old info there and the challenges are going strong.
Hello everyone! Does anyone still have merged mods like uber+underlord or uber+soulvizier+asylum from the old forums?
Don’t think so jrkl94, but have a look.
When I installed Soulvizier I had to download main mod and 2 more updates, 0.90 , 0.96 and 0.98i, if this is anyhow from help to you.
Just posting a query here. Does anyone remember news/forum posts over on THQ that they were working on Ragnarok before they closed down? Someone mentioned on the Steam forum that they were, but I can’t find any info and of course THQ is long gone.
There was an Act V fan mod in development that was meant to comprise Norse mythology. I remember reading about it on the old forums. I never heard anything official though until Nordic’s announcement, and I’ve kept up with Titan Quest over the years.
Well, it seems ILE were working on a TQ2 before they closed. This from back in 2011.
Whether THQ continued work on it and that’s what Nordic turned into Ragnarok we’ll probably never know for sure.
This maybe a too late for Titan Quest, especially considering Steam Workshop is now hosting content but, we now have a framework for quickly pushing out modding portals for games supported by ModDrop. You can see an example of the portal we released for Stardew Valley at moddrop.com/sdv. Do you think there’s still any interest in this?
There may be Kreisher. You’d have to ask over on the new forum since that’s where most of the modders for the game are hanging out. titanquestfans.net
