I am using a local save, I also did try both ways of updating the Stats,
one by having the game closed and running it after editing and saving, and
editing and saving it while the game is running and when I am logged in to the
char and also when I’m waiting on the menu before login in to a Char.
Problem still persisting.
And just as additional info,
I am using the latest version of java 8 - 151.
I tried the same things on Win 8.1 & Win 10 (x64 versions)
When choosing a Char to edit on the Char Edit tab, the chosen Char stats
seem to load up as they should, so that’s a Plus
With local saves it should always work unless you play the char at the same time so to me this sounds like the game is using a different dir / char than what you edit.
When you create a new char in game, is that then available in the tool ?
Currently running new tests and the GD Editor seem to Stat edit a New Char just fine, but as to older Chars from previous Grim Game versions it still does Not
I tested again after creating a new char and for some reason I am now able to Stat mod all of my Chars and this time even my old ones, not sure what solved it but Thank Very Much for your Help
are you talking about in the tool ? I do not list them as the list of stats can already be pretty long without them and they are not really that interesting imo
Is there any way to put a newly created item from “crafting” tab into characters stash? Currently i am putting the item into shared and then transfering from there.
no, never found that necessary to add as everything (incl. soulbound) can be added to the stash and shows up in game even while playing the char (when not using cloud save) whereas you cannot be playing the char when adding items to it directly.
Thanks for this program and all the help you give here mamba.
I’ve got an odd one:
2 users on one win10 pc, both admin accounts.
GD Stash works normally for one user but won’t even start for the other.
Any suggestions for where I can look for the issue?
User2 only gets a very quick GD Stash window pop up, then nothing, no error.
Tried starting the jar and also the bat file. Bat file made gdstart doc but its empty.
It seems this player.g00 file is created after I Stat edit a Char, this file does exist on Chars I have Stat edited,
and in a couple of them this player.g file goes from g00 to g09
Maybe I’m messing up somewhere but the search function for transferring doesn’t seem to work. Did the first time I used the program but no longer does. Did I goof somewhere?
