did you select a mod in GD?
I opened the char in GDS, ticked the âin modâ tickbox, saved.
I then copied that into the folder - D:\Steam\userdata\41776132\219990\remote\save\user
That was not my question
Re-started STEAM and now the char did show.
Seems to work now. Shared stash is gone, dont care. Char stash is there, items seem to save etcâŚ
Imma call this one âsolvedâ
thx all
The shared stash is mod specific, your vanilla stash should still exist
Blockquote
How do I open the command line for the GD Stash dir?
If you are on Windows 10 just navigate to the directory for it in Windows Explorer then on a blank area hold down the Shift key and then right-click on a blank area of the folder. Then select Open PowerShell window here
from the context menu.
Once I navigate to the directory, what would be the command to run the .bat? Iâm getting the error below when I tried the command below.
PS E:\MODS\Grim Dawn\GD Stash-2-1-6-0k-1607383142> \gdstash.bat
\gdstash.bat : The term â\gdstash.batâ is not recognized as the name of a cmdlet, function, script file, or operable
program. Check the spelling of the name, or if a path was included, verify that the path is correct and try again.
At line:1 char:1
- \gdstash.bat
-
+ CategoryInfo : ObjectNotFound: (\gdstash.bat:String) [], CommandNotFoundException + FullyQualifiedErrorId : CommandNotFoundException
If you are in the dir, the command simply is âgdstash.batâ without the â
This is what Iâm getting
PS E:\MODS\Grim Dawn\GD Stash-2-1-6-0k-1607383142> gdstash.bat
gdstash.bat : The term âgdstash.batâ is not recognized as the name of a cmdlet, function, script file, or operable
program. Check the spelling of the name, or if a path was included, verify that the path is correct and try again.
At line:1 char:1
- gdstash.bat
-
+ CategoryInfo : ObjectNotFound: (gdstash.bat:String) [], CommandNotFoundException + FullyQualifiedErrorId : CommandNotFoundException
Then you need the regular command prompt, not PowerShell.
Try it like this in PowerShell insteadâŚ
âŚif that donât work then thereâs either something up with your java installation or you should just download the Win32 version of GD Stash and skip all this.
Which is by far the simplest route if you donât even know what a command prompt is.
adding the period worked, it launched GD Stash. But on powershell I get this:
PS E:\MODS\Grim Dawn\GD Stash-2-1-6-0k-1607383142> .\gdstash.bat
Exception in thread âAWT-EventQueue-0â java.lang.OutOfMemoryError: GC overhead limit exceeded
And on GD Stash I ge this when trying to add all Illusions, but at least it doesnât freeze now:
javax.swing.ImageIcon@a9de349 Error reading ID records/tq/skills/itemskills/weaponprocs/item_balorseye.dbr in table GD_SKILL_SPAWN
javax.swing.ImageIcon@a9de349 Error reading ID All in table GD_ITEM
Import the GD data and try again
That worked thanks a lot!
Hmm I noticed the Mythical Plaguebearer of Dreeg, a lv 94 mace has wrong info shown in GD Stash.
Under Bonus to All Pets, it is currently listed as +70% Total Damage, 10% OA. It is missing the conversion of Vitality Damage => Acid Damage.
However, creating the item will still provide the missing attribute.
mamba, probably a silly question, but when I take items out of GDStash that Iâve stored there is it actually taking the item itself or making a copy of it?
Depends on you Config setting
Allow item and character editing is ticked.
I mean the Copy or Transfer setting
