Never looked at the code… as you said, something was missing either way as I never even got the first value right. Had I gotten that then I maybe could have worked out the sequence
I dont want to level a whole new charter and go thru the whole campaign again, my current one is at lvl50…
I backed up my saves
D:\Steam\userdata\41776132\219990\remote\save\user
I copypasted my “source” char
Opened GDStash and edited the clone, re-named it and reset attributes and masteries. Saved and re-loaded to see if its ok. Seems fine.
Started GD but the “clone” wont show in the char-list.
What did i do wrong?
I am not sure I understand what you did.
Where did you copy your source char to in order to make a clone (copy) ?
What you should do is copy your char somewhere, change the original, including the renaming part, and then copy the copy back into the save dir. As by now the two chars have different names and are in different dirs, you should have two chars.
If this does not work, blame cloud save (as that is the dir you mention). It certainly works for local saves.
does the latest GDstash work with older GD versions (for whatever reasons) as well, or do i need the version of GDstash that was current at that time?
It should work with all GD versions
ok, thanks!
one more question: i cant see an option neither in app nor in .ini to specify the location for GDstashs Database. Could you add that to a future version? (would prefer that over junctions)
- then one thing i stumbled upon: after starting GDstash it prompts me to import database. that said, i started the import process. after that when trying to select the mod (normal survivalmode) i got prompted again for database import what soudns weird to me.
There is nothing weird about having to import the data of a mod, as it obviously is different from the data of vanilla GD… new items, new masteries / skills, changed stats on vanilla items, you name it.
What sounds weird to me is why you would select survivalmode That is just the Crucible, no need to import that.
Other mods however you probably should import, depending on what the mod does (add / change items / masteries, etc. ? yes, import, increase drop rate only ? no need to…)
na, that each mods Db needs to be imported is not of question. i just thought GDstash would import all of them automatically and not on demand when i chose them. But on demand makes obviously sense.
What sounds weird to me is why you would select survivalmode
yea, forget about the survivalmode one was in the false belief that that is the normal game. quite some time since i played GD.
Hello, Ive noticed that my game crashes often ever since the latest update and coincidentally enough, the game stops crashing when GD Stash is not running. I
ve also made sure to do an import before testing any further. Anybody else having the same issue?
Pure coincidence, you might as well say GD does not crash when MS Word is not running.
Alright i managed to find what was the issue and yeah it wasn`t caused by GD stash but something else.
What was it?
No idea, the crashing seem to have stopped after starting over with a clean install.
You are out of memory, anything else probably is a consequence of that. Try the 64bit JVM.
I increased the size in the .bat file and was able to import database successfully.
Has GD stash been updated for 1.9.1
There is no need to, just import the GD data.
Hey Mamba! what’s up? I’m about to upgrade my pc (meaning new SSD and HDD). I want to restore the stash to th new rig and what is the process by restoring it? I now the t.## files are the copies of the stash at any given time. T00 is the last change on gdstash.
When I install gdstash again, and I import the database, then what? Do I rename the .t00 file to .gst?
What exactly is transfer.gst?
