why?
GDstash doesntā require a tool update everytime GD has an update, you just import the database, āif thatā(since several times you can even use it without importing database for the GD patch)

actually i have an error that i canāt edit my character because of the new version of gd had just came outā¦
unless i can import more stuff to this. i can edit this. but if not, i must wait for it or somethingā¦
huh, youāre right, i can edit my chars, but i canāt edit them after i load them into the game

since 0.4 just released probably shouldnāt expect Mamba to have it fixed in the next 5mins atleast

it says that because the current GD Stash version is not compatible with the save file format of the GD version you are usingā¦ so either you are on an old GD Stash, or GD just released a new format and it has not updated yet, like right now
mostly to be an update to the game, cuz i updated the tool sometime ago. atleast i can edit my stash but not my charactersā¦ gotta be more patient then
also, take your time, mambaā¦ itās not like it would take an eternity of suffering to make that update upā¦

When running GDStash.exe, the hourglass appears next to my mouse cursor and blinks rapidly, nothing else happens. Tried running as admin, same result. Any info welcome.
EDIT: Updating from Java 8 to JDK21 had no result, although the hourglass is gone and it tells me that i need to install Java 17 - 21 which i just did ā¦
I have problems with GDStash, too. Iām running GDStash 1.7.6. While the import of the GD Databases seems to work fine, GDStash freezes while trying to load the āShared Stashesā.
Edit: Iām playing HC, if thatās relevant (since they have separate stash files).
Same. Updated GDstash doesnāt launch.
Edit: the download from Nexus works fine. The download from modDB seems to load into Java (pardon the botched explanation, i have no clue how it actually works), but doesnāt launch the GDStash itself. It then resists attempting to delete the .jar file, saying that itās currently open in Java.
can you run it from the command line and see whether it gives you an error message?
it is literally the same .zip fileā¦ not sure what is going on there
Just as some feedback: The new version works fine here. 64 bit OpenJDK 20.0.1, calling the .jar with slightly increased memory parameters (-Xms2048m -Xmx2048m).

I just checked again. It was user error. I installed a ridiculously old package of OpenJDK. After installing 21.0.2 everything worked. Sorry for wasting your time.
