[Tool] Grim Dawn Trained Hard

You cannot miss it. It’s the Character Select Screen, where you make, delete, and choose which character you’re going to play. I can’t say it any more plainly.

Thanks.

Ya, I mean the option to reset one-shot chest in main screen.

I know where the main screen is. Sorry for my bad language

Hey aDoubious1, thanks for responding.

I just “figured out” (stumbled into actually) my gross stupidity… and it is NOT a problem with GDTH!

Once I took all of the points out of skills at the Spirit Guide I needed to subtract, by pressing the + button of course, all the rest of the skill points until I hit the last one which the game selfishly keeps in the Class as you noted. Apparently I am SFB today… S**t For Brains.

There is absolutely no one in the world who can embarrass me as thoroughly as I myself can. Sorry to trouble you.

Life is short and then you die.

This is what I initially wrote in the response… but it’s all nonsense.

This character was originally started as an Arcanist. Around lvl 10 I added a point to Necro thinking I’d use it. Then a bit later, before lvl 20 I think, I took all the skill points out of Necro, using the Spirit Guide, except for the points that were initially assigned to it since the stingy game would not let me have them back. So, for quite a long time I was playing an Arcanist missing a few skill points and a toothless Necro. Then I tried using GDTH and apparently tripped something up.

Now the Arcanist has zero skill points, I have 187 unassigned, and 20 hung up in the Necro assigned to empty skills. I’d be happy to take the Necro
back to just the first assigned points.

hi there. i tried the trainer today and it works perfectly. i just ran into a problem tough…

i did put my level from 50 to 55 and it worked, the only problem is that now that im killing enemies the experience bar doesnt progress. no more yellow. the bar stays empty.

any idea?

thanks for this great trainer!!!

nevermind, i found out that adding experience with the trainer will unlock put bar the experience bar to normal. thanks

After a few days of trying to get the increased spawn rate to work these are my experiences.

  • Most of the time you are invulnerable when trying to increase the spawnrate… In some occasions after resetting it to default, quiting the trainer and starting it again, it sometimes works
  • For a lot of options (like spawning items, save waypoints) it gives me a 'something went terribly wrong and it doesn’t work).
  • Trainer keeps complaining I’m using a wrong version and that it is for 1.0.4.0 version of the game, not 1.0.4.1
  • Trainer always crashes when closing it, application stopped working etc.

Using steam version with Crucible and AoM expansion.

So I can only conclude that offsets used aren’t correct anymore. If you are willing to release the source files I’d try to find them myself but not sure if you are willing to do that.

If you set a higher max zoom out level, the world starts getting black, is it from the program or from the game ?

As has been noted, Immor is working on an update currently. It’s a major update, and that means it will take longer to be released.

No, Immor is not going to release the source. He’s worked hard on this and is still actively working on it. Just be patient.

I’ve personally tried to recreate your invincible “problem”. I haven’t been able to do so. I’ve tried it with normal characters and HC ones.

Everytime any game is updated, the offsets are changed. Sometimes minorly, other times in huge ways. That the currently released build is still compatible with the current game release tells us that the changes made were not too bad.

It’s from the game. It has nothing to do with GDTH, other than allowing you to zoom out further than the game is designed to.

The same result

PS/ Windows 10 Pro x64, 16 GB

Yes I understand how it works and how offsets might change when a new build of the game is released.

And he is within his full rights to not release the source files, it was merely a suggestion. But I fully understand why he would not do it.

I’m in nu rush, I only posted my results as I’ve noticed them hoping it helps him. Btw it seems the invul thing doesn’t happen when I activate the increased spawn rate from the main menu before loading a character.

That’s because the current release of GDTH is not for the most recent game release, but it still works for key purposes.

farmable oneshot chest option

Is there any other program that can spawn lokkar, grava, kuba and aleks until this gets updated ?

I got this error. Anybody solved it?

Next time, crop it down to the error window itself.

Next time, please, give me an answer to the subject of the question.

I’m getting the same error. Any help would be greatly appreciated

Do either of you know what exactly you were doing when that happened? Did you just change a setting, if so, which one? If you can recreate it, that would be great. I can’t answer the question, but I know about trouble shooting and what is needed to narrow down the problem. So, any additional info you can give is very helpful.

At best, I can tell it has to do with the name of something. Possibly an item you spawned?

I just gave the app a try, very handy for experimenting with builds though the “skill reset” allows me only to undo my primary class and not the secondary or did I do something wrong ?

Does this trainer also account for attribute points gained as quest rewards as I may have broken character by doing a attribute reset using this trainer. I am only getting 57 points back on my level58 character and I think I’ve done 1-2 quests that reward an attribute point if I am not mistaken

It may not. If it is supposed to, that may be one of the things that needs to be fixed, however, you can always add the extra point via the first tab
