So I get these Error Messages I have no idea how to fix it

I don’t know if WareBare will be able to add community localizations to the Rainbow Filter, but for now to get rid of “Tag not found” errors I use latest community translation .txt for my language and add missing lines to the same place as lines from “text_en” folder from Grim Dawn\settings that show up after you use Rainbow Filter on English language.
In my case, in Grim Dawn\settings I create folder “text_pl” and place there all the txt from last localization with added missing lines like “tagEvade”, “tagAutoToggledSkill”, “tagHUDDesc20” and so on - then in game I can choose Polish language and it will be colored with new texts. Essentially, it’s a basic manual translation without any automation.

You need to update the Rainbow files, the tag for that health bar was added a long time ago, so your files are still from over a year ago.
Had no idea the system for localizations was changed, but should be easy enough to make the program work with it again.
I just woke up, starting to work on the fix soon.

Thanks for the response than I have this problem: I tried the new install before posting. The main problem is I have no idea where the old folder got moved to. the two folders were the mod is supposed to work are sadly not the place.
Does someone know where the old files could be?

The OP has this: Guide: "How To Use Preset-Files" that were generated with the tool by me as Zip.
Comes down to having files in
C:\Program Files (x86)\Steam\steamapps\common\Grim Dawn (might be different for you depending where you have the game installed)
or
C:\Users\[User]\Documents\My Games\Grim Dawn (might be a little different if you have a different language in Windows)
For English files, yes.
Other Languages are a work in progress.

Program updates itself, keep in mind colors need to be saved manually after it has finished updating.
You can find all downloads in the First Post or on GitHub.
Using the Program for a different Language simply change the Language in Settings:
Alternatively, If you wish not to use the program or it is not working for you, you may get all the required files for the Full Rainbow variant and extract the files yourself. This Zip contains all languages (including English) be sure you end up with all text_XX folders inside your Grim Dawn/settings/ directory.
Keep in mind if you are reliant on the Zip below, you need to wait for an update from somebody when you see any missing tags after a Grim Dawn update. By using the Program you can generate those files yourself and won’t have to rely on anybody.

Note: As I am a little on a time crunch here, various outdated texts in the OP and Program may be misleading, I’ll get to it eventually.

I just got time to run 0.5.7 Rainbow Filter. I cleaned all the GD folders of old localizations etc. to try fresh RF install with Polish language. Colors work and all the 1.2.0.0 strings (for now) show up; however, all the Polish colored prefixes starts with a small letter.
Is there anything I should do or this could be fixed globally in Rainbow?
Hello everyone. I’m a user of the rainbow filter and it is already updated to the .5.7 version, but i’m still facing the tag error. Is it related to this mod?
I had flags for Polish and Czech in regard to Capitalizations in place, they weren’t being applied with the language changes, I’ll enable them again with the next update. There should be a Grim Dawn Hotfix on the way, so I’ll just wait for that.
Did you Write Colors after updating the program? That missing tag makes me think those are over a year old Rainbow files.

This rainbow filter 1.2.0 will work reverting back to 1.1.9.8 or will it give problems?If so, which version should i get from the github? the v0.5.5 for GD 1.1.9.0?
The program adds the colors to your local files, so technically the program will generate the files for any version of the game.
Since the Update my rainbow is not showing up anymore?

Did you update to the latest Rainbow version?
The database for Localizations changed. Before I had to create a new Language entry or change the source files, so I decided to make a new entry for the colored variant. Now the database is similar to how it always has been for English, as long as the text_XX files are in /settings/ it will override the original texts in the game, there is no new drop-down entry to change to the colored Language anymore.
If you have German/Deutsch selected and it doesn’t have the colors ingame, you are missing the text_de folder in settings. It also means if you want to get rid of the colors you need to delete the text_de folder in settings.

Hello =] I see only a few “tag is missing” in the menu (help button) and a few in the options.
This is after overwriting the en folder with the DoM rainbow files.
Is there something specific I need to do to fix this? (all in-game items work as should)
I’m experiencing tag missing on the amount of skills added, plus the bonuses. This when I hover on a skill description. Also having this when I tried to display cooldown on skills, on the action bar. Downloaded the manual file a couple of days ago and just replaced the old ones. Not using any language pack or whatever, just regular game and this mod.
Should I be doing anything else?
Not entirely sure which tags are missing for you, but I checked the Mastery window and I got no missing tags and this is the first time I’ve heard about this, so I’m guessing something got corrupted on your end.
Delete the old Rainbow files and put the new ones in rather than just overwriting the old ones. Also if you’re on Steam, try verifying game files before placing the new Rainbow files.
I’m on gog. Tried to delete the files and place them again, and still the same issue…
