Essentially, every third hit from Cadence doesn’t proc WPS as it will use its own attack instead.

as far as i know it can proc wps, but it adds % of it additively instead of multiplying,
so if we have 550% from cadence and 170% from reaping strike for example it will do 550+170 % + flats.

So just a gimped version of the proper WPS values. interesting.

both not how it works and you’re mixing up dual wield melee cadence with 100% wps vs 1h or 2h cadence or ranged

Regular cadence doesn’t do wps on the cadence discharge hit, it simply can’t because of animation override
Dual Wield melee also perhaps don’t get the dmg scaling you think
because it’s not’s 500+170 for both hands, but 500 1h and 170 for the offhand

the difference is savagery multiplies with wps on every hit
and for 2h cadence (avenger) will not get any overlapping scaling, first 2 hits are just base wps dmg, 3rd hit is then just base cadence dmg

sure, the game is not torchlight2

Chaos Saboteur 1.2.1.4 update!

Not many changes here, except for swapping Turtle for Solemn Watcher and pumping Shadow Dance to take DA to whopping ~3600 before Veil’s of Shadow OA debuff. Build lost a tiny bit of zest due to nerfs but still is a very potent SR farmer.

Isnt it because of the charge system bound to cadence? WPS dont proc on 3rd Cadence strike or smth?

Edit: I think its this post:

partially, but also because you get no boost on the first 2 hits
with other AA you get AA %weapon dmg multiplied by wps%wd, then multiplied by savagery’s Might fo the Bear tdm too etc
with cadence you then get just wps %wd
Savagery then takes much greater benefit of the WPS modifiers because it’s adding additional scaling to them, where as cadence it would just be the modifier and nothing else on the first two hits too
so with Sav and might of the bear you get an increased bonus from the feral hunger/zolhan/markovian modifiers and not just their face value

@mad_lee Hey one more think about korba trickster is it a devotion progress tool or advice?

Thanks in advance!

How did you optimize for the 1:12 Ravager kill with the Avenger Warder? No matter what I try, I can only get it down to 1:30 using the same save file. You used the Elixir of the Ancients and Ugdensalve too, right?

Basically the secret is cheats top-rolled items is to stand within his pixel so his OA debuff - that swirling red ball that leaves CoF looking debuff icon on your debuff bar - doesn’t hit you as frequently. With this particular build it’s important because sometimes when it hits us we can’t crit him and then can’t proc Assassin’s Mark in time thus slowing down the kill.
It’s a gimmicky boss with a gimmicky toolset that only he has, I wouldn’t sweat over how you kill it, as long as you kill it.

But I just did that… Even used Soul Shard’s in place of the Bloodied crystal (remedied bleed res via potion that also gave life leech res) so as to focus on avoiding the -OA orbs without having to dodge the energy drain AoE…
The best I could do was ~1:25… miles away from your 1:12…

Were you joking when you said top rolled items/cheats? How could top rolls make such a difference tho ?_?

I wouldn’t sweat over how you kill it, as long as you kill it.

The point of my tests tho is to benchmark Ravager kills…
Seriously, how did you get the 1:12?

If every item has a top roll or close to that’s a significant DPS boost

How do you get top rolls for every item for dozens of builds in the first place??

you GDstash every single item 15-50x and pick out the best one

I wish there was a mod to make all items have average rolls…
This is too much rng for me.

universal avg roll seed would be dope :pensive: atleast for testing purposes even if it wouldn’t be “100% accurate/representative”, would atleast make a shared/uniform baseline possible

No cheats of course. “Top-rolled items” is a meme from a certain video. But items are indeed high rolled.

Look as a I said, against Ravager of Flesh variance is really high with Phys builds with mid OA. He has a massive OA debuff that makes you miss some hits and sometimes it can mean that you can’t crit for long enough to have no Assassin’s Mark on him.
Also, did you copy the spec exactly like we have it in Grimtools? Thru gdstash? Because like 50 less OA and the slowdown against this particular boss can be disproportionally high.

EDIT:
_Arch 1-2-1-4.zip (2.4 MB)

File I used if you wanna compare

Would you say the Spellbinder PRM is the strongest PRM variant in the new patch, or does something like mage hunter stand a chance?
