So yeah, for some reason the undergrowth in my town has returned with a vengeance, burying half my town under it and it seems to be expanding. No those are not trees or bushes (well there a couple of trees in there), so they can not be harvested or cleared away. I don’t think this is intentional design, so I am putting it as a bug.
(edit: I miss read first post)
As I said those are not harvestable or clearable items. It is just underbrush, map design to make it look better, like grass or the reeds near the water. Nothing I can do about it as it is supposed to disappear when you build on it, and it did originally but has since come back and seems to be expanding
As you can see, if I target the whole area for harvest, this is all that gets selected (same items if i pick clear and exclude structures). The underbrush, currently green because it is Spring, is not removable
I’ll be honest, I read “No those are not trees or bushes” as “No those are not trees, they are bushes”
My bad.
What if you set your cows to graze that area?
@Zantai This was not an idea or feedback post. The title was to draw attention to the bug mentioned in the post itself. Brush that should not be there is appearing and covering the buildings. Perhaps next time I will not assume that posts are actually read, and just be straight forward on the title.
Edit: swapped the title and put back in proper category
Never had this behaviour amongst houses and buildings, but I get this in orchards, and it’s pretty annoying as you can barely see your fruit trees buried under this undergrowth mess.
I had the same happening in one of my towns. Vegetation taking over.
When I read the title I thought it was going to talk about how the parks in the city never require any maintenance to stay that clean. And a new job would be there to basically clean the plazas and keep the parks in good shape to keep their desirability high.
It was moved where it belongs, thanks.
I had the same bug! Looks like my town is such a forsaken area, despite all the care. 🥲
Hopefully the next update will fix this bug.
