I guess I’ll try Emailing again. I Emailed some time back and have yet to receive any replies.
Still no reply. I emailed [email protected], is this even right?
Don’t know if this will help. A post I made about this earlier in this thread.
So maybe try just [email protected] or see if the [email protected] is still working. No idea if Josh still works there or why the change in address.
Hope you get it sorted soon.
Good luck
I guess Drew does not work over the weekend. Please allow a few days for answering your email. Processing these upgrades is a rather special process the Humble Store team is doing for Crate.
Yea it can definitely take awhile so it requires a bit of patience.
Don’t worry though as I’m sure you’ll get in before Act 2 comes out (which I’m clearly excited for).
I have sent mail at 26 of December at [email protected] and [email protected] and still don’t have an answer. Still want to upgrade.
This is really poor customer service. I have bought a couple of packs from the GD site with no problem but I would like to upgrade my sunandsteel71 account. However I refuse to deal with these jokers at humble bundle whilever they show such an unprofessional attitude to customer service.
If there is some way I can help with the process so that the supporters can actually receive some service I am willing to volunteer my time to do so. Can’t we do this in house somehow and cut mumblemumble out of the picture?
January marks the third month in a row I have resent humble the same email asking for assistance. They just do not reply…
From Crate’s Contact page:
Please try to resolve Humble Store sales issues directly with Humble Store as we are a small studio and have no dedicated customer service people. However, if you’re unable to get a satisfactory response within a reasonable time, please do contact us at Sales Support and we will help you to resolve your issue: [email protected]. Please allow us 2-3 business days for a response.
Please contact us at [email protected] with information on your Humble customer service requests and we will assist you.
Will it be possible to upgrade to a higher tier from the Kickstarter ever again?
Could someone please provide the link to the webpage that shows the table of each tier of bundle purchase.
Thank You!
Syn
I doubt we will see any changes prior to release. But don’t hold me to it. And I am not saying, some KS tiers will become available afterwards.
Do you mean the Buy Now! page or the KS reward tiers?
Yeah the KS Reward Tiers was the page, thank you! I am very interested in upgrading to the ‘Early Access + Expansion’ for $45.00 USD. I am actually not too sure what I did purchase when I bought GD off of Steam back in December - it was a purchase somewhere in the vicinity of #30.00 USD, I will check when I go home as I am at work at the moment.
Syn
If you purchased GD via Steam, then you have the equivalent of the Standard Edition - excluding any goodies, but including early access. I am not aware of any way to upgrade this one.
As the expansion is currently only included to the Loyalist Edition, your best option seems to be the release of the expansion and to purchase it then.
Hey everyone,
Josh from Humble Bundle here. I’m super saddened to hear/realize that we’ve totally let you guys down with some subpar customer service on our end. We’ve done some adjustments and this shouldn’t be an issue anymore, and right now we’re investigating to make sure everyone who fell through the cracks is going to get taken care of ASAP.
I’ve got a new awesome guy who’s going to be helping out to make sure this all gets handled. If you have any issues or just want to re-ping with an old request, always feel free to hit him up at “patrick+grimdawn at humblebundle.com”.
Again, words can’t really describe how sorry I am that we let you guys down. Very much hoping to make things right, and also happy to hear from everyone here in the thread.
So you’re saying those of us who weren’t even aware of higher tiers because we found out about the game through steam are basically screwed?
That seems like some seriously poor planning on behalf of the developers.
I mean, I’m sitting here like “HEY TAKE MY MONEY”, but they don’t want it?
Really though, if there’s a way for me to upgrade to a higher team from my steam purchase, I’d love for someone to point me in the right direction. I have money. Srsly.
They may add DLC options to Steam.
That still doesn’t give me my Will-O’-The-Wisp.
I don’t understand why they can upgrade humble bundles, but not steam purchases. (Actually I do, from a technical perspective. But that doesn’t make me less upset that I bought the steam edition before I found out about the other.)
Has anyone ever had success getting a refund from steam?
Only if they decide not to offer Will-O’-The-Wisp as DLC on Steam. I cannot say if they will, but why should they just exclude the pet?
At this moment in time nobody has Will-O’-The-Wisp.
Suppose there’s a lesson in that. Always check in on the actual websites of a game you have a lot of interest in, especially the EA’s, beforehand.
You got a while yet to decide if you want to buy the game again and support the devs more. Or just wait to see if they offer it up as dlc.
No need to be salty about it tho, for all you know there could be a stipulation with Steam to not outright advertise it on the Store Page. Possibly, I dunno. Either way always check the main sites, Steams just a vendor booth.
As far as Steam refunds, I’ve heard it’s possible, but sorta rare. Suppose you could try lying and saying the game refuses to start at all for you and your tired of hassling with a game that won’t work yadayada? That would probably be the best bet if you go that way.
