[i]Elsa 2.0 is here! Starting a new thread since i can’t change title and we aren’t exactly a spellbreaker anymore…since this is a standalone guide it will have some similar stuff from the old one.
Compared to the previous version, we become more tanky+healy but we lose mirror+OFF. I think the damage output ends up being similar. we lose some dmg on winterking, lose alot of dmg on falconswoop, but gain arcblade proc, more cast rate, alot more OA, more -resist, and a consistent way to proc whirlpool. Sticking with bane of winterking weapon is ok as well.
I think this version is probably better but i’m not 100% sure. Instead, see this as a different way of playing the build rather than an absolutely superior one.

UPDATE: just ran a bunch of dummy tests, it seems Temporal arcblade vs. bane of the winterking , dmg output is nearly identical. in this case winterking does offer the aura with +16% armor and extra +skills. its actually likely the better choice here. Which would turn this into a purefrost build again…
This is a build using Crown of the Winterking’s ability which shotguns in close range and is very similar to Obsidian Juggernaught. This build focuses mostly on a single damage type, cold, while stacking a massive amount of -cold resist from Necrosis,Night’s Chill,Blackstar of Deceit or wind devil.
Falconswoop devotion ability shoots 6 projectiles for 65% weapon dmg each, and shotguns at close range just like Winterking’s ability. It has a relatively low proc chance but only a 1sec CD. If we can proc it consistently, it does massive 390% weapon dmg per proc at close range every 1sec. However, it is based on weapon % so needs a big 2hander, while most 2hander skills suck at procing, winterking ability being multihit like PB, is the prefect solution. This also requires physical damage converison to cold.

Again offensive devos, this time, shaman tree offers much higher hp, so we can still gear somewhat offensively.
Gameplay:
RMB - Winterking’s might (devotion ability Falcon swoop)
LMB - shadowstrike
Mid mouse - pneumatic burst
mousewheel up - wendigo totem (devotion ability whirlpool)
mousewheel down - necrosis
Tips against Sharzul - he still hits hard when his low and enrages. When he hits 25% or so refresh necrosis/wendigo totem. Then keep dpsing and if u drop low with pot/PB on CD, use bladebarrier while wendigo keeps healing you. he’ll actually do noticeable dmg to himself with bladebarrier’s reflect.
Tips against fabius - he’s normally easy, however, sometimes he spawns with OP gear, like damage reflect, energyburn, conversion to dmg type that you dont ressist. so just deal with it as you can and skip the run if you can’t kill him due to his gear being too op, instead of keep banging head against wall…
Buffs: mogdrogen’s pact, primal bond, pneumatic burst, Veil of Shadow, voidward aura or coldstone aura
Basically shadowstrike onto people face’s, wendigo totem+necrosis debuff and double shotgun their faces off with winterking’s might+falcon swoop.
Esp against smaller targets you want to get really up in there face to make sure all projectiles shotgun them.

Head: Crown of the winterking - leatherhide or sanctified bone +15psn resist augment
Shoulder: Iskandra’s pauldrons - silk swatch or scaled hide +15psn resist augment
Chest: Iskandra’s Vestments - chains of oleron +15psn resist augment
leg: Empowered legplates of valor - silk swatch of scaled hide +15psn resist augment
Belt: Phanthom-Thread Girdle - antivenom salve, +15psn resist augment
Boots: Rhowari Elite Greaves - mark of mogdrogen or mark of the traveler +15psn resist augment
Relic: Necrosis
Ring #1: Band of Eternal haunt - Corpse dust + mogdrogen’s sancitity
ring #2: Albrecht’s Duality or Lifegiver Signet - Ectoplasm/corpse dust + mogdrogen’s sancitity
neck: Iskandra’s Focusing prism - arcane spark + kymon’s -enemy damage augment
medal : black star of deceit or blood sigil of chton - black tallow or arcane spark or wardstone
gloves: Elite Harvest Grips - spellwoven thread +15psn resist augment
weapon: Temporal Arcblade or Bane of the winterking - coldstone or imbued silver + chtonic dmg augment or human dmg augment

Note: in the fabius setup i changed to blood sigil of chton + wind devil instead of blackstar for more +human damage, this results in 1 xtra thing to cast, im not entirely sure its better or not, you can keep blackstar with no wind devil its perfectly ok. if you are feeling squishy, use 1-2 lifegiver rings, as the current rings aren’t deadset.
Leveling Guide:
best to lvl with physical primal strike until 58, then can switch to obsidian juggernaught if you have it, otherwise stick with primal strike.
