Mark of the Apostate: added 2% Max Elemental Resist and 12% Elemental Resist
Swapped Dense Fur for Rigid Shell, buff from Mark of the Apostate allowed me to remove Kymon’s Blessing for a second Kymon’s Conduit
Basically the goal was to overcap lightning resist (got 51% now) since Valdaran is the most dangerous Crucible encounter for this build.
Added a Vanilla Fabius video, BoC run coming soon™.
Nice build, manage to reach gladiator 130 without any problem.A little later I’m trying higher.
One question, bonus timer for each wave it affects only multiplier and that bonus chest from the end?or it affects general loot at the end?
Quote from Official guide:
“At the end of the Crucible, you earn an extra chest based on your final score, so maintaining a high multiplier is beneficial to maximizing your loot.”
Try to overcap lightning resist, or swap one item with huge lightning res when you encounter him.
You can also go for a Radiant Gem in your shield, very strong against him.
II lose mutch dps if ii remove vitrolic gallstone from shield and replace with radiant gem?
Also stormshroud ointment that potion 450 sec increase 30% light resistence its ok to consider it?
Digging this build. Only level 61 so far with it but it’s been a lot of fun. Been using mostly caster offhands instead of shields (as I’ve found WAY better offhands than shields). I’m betting this will be way better once I find a decend shield for it. Any recommendations from lvl 61 to 85 for temporary shields to use until we can get the end game one?
Caster offhand are indeed good for leveling process.
About the shield question here the “closest” one to Siegebreaker:
-Elite Devil’s Protector (Devil’s Crossing reputation)
-Vanguard of the Legion
30 spirit from devo (rat & wendigo), 18 from Focusing Prism, 4% spirit from the belt.
I want to start from scratch and the last time I played was b29. I’d like to play through the campaign and then do some farming for other builds.
I’m probably going to buy crucible mode too.
Is there anything significant I can/should change for a vanilla playthrough?
Or is a witchhunter DEE builld more balanced in terms of offense/defense.
DEE build are great for beginner since it is efficient without any high-end gear.
For Crucible Witchblade is better because toughness is more important here.
For Vanilla i would prefer a Witchhunter since i’am privileging more damage over toughness here, tho some people could enjoy the fact to be unkillable and favor Witchblade.
Take into consideration that Crucible can potentially reward more legendary per hour than Vanilla, if it is properly executed.
Well my first character was a Witchblade for couple of reason
A) I wanted to try Poison DoT
B) Witchhunter while offering more damage didn’t seem to give the same access to defensive stat that Witchblade was offering (Decorated Soldier giving 20% Free Elemental Resist for one)
Now I’m level 85 started to farm most of the hard stuff (Nemesis did some run of Port / BoC / Steps) and well as a Caster with some lacking gear it is honestly always kind of stressfull. I finally got like live the piece I was lacking to complete most of this build. The remaining piece are craftable and I met some very nice people that with the stuff needed to craft will help me get the Siegebreaker and the final Relic.
Just a quick question about how much of a difference will 15 points make. While building I ended up putting a lot more point in Spirit (36 instead of the 21 you are mentioning because I was wearing an Off-Hand Focus). How big of an impact this will have?
I’m also having a question about Solael Witchfire. I see you spend 5 point in it and 5 point into the Modifiers? Any reasoning behind it that I don’t see at first sight?
And last for Vanilla how would you compare Witchblade with a Shield and Witchblade with an Off-Hand ?
Basically 2 skill points for 10 vitality resistance, dont dismiss i have +4 Occultist tree.
Caster offhand is ok for Vanilla (especially for leveling phase), but you will loose all the benefit from S&B (Overguard/shield training) which is the main reason to pick Witchblade over Witchhunter.
