[v1.0.0.8] DEE Witchblade, Dreeg Dreadnaught the Slightly Crucible God

maxed out resistances is vital if you do the crucible a lot. and because these pants are crafted by the witch gods, nothing comes close!

seriously you can try others as well, but these ones are very good, given u have the right mods in it.

Check out the second Grimtool link in the main post, its a setup without any hard green to obtain.

thanks for the reply about the devotion list/guide but not too familiar with the system is there any to reclaim at some point during the leveling?

Hey Drizzto,

Firstly great guide. Thank you for your contributions on the builds forum.

I just got this puppy to 85 and now farming for (most of) dregs and that blasted siegebreker. In terms of an interim weapon I really only have Agony, venomlash or an empowered plagueblood. Any suggestions on which of those (or of there is something else) I should be using?

Thanks again.

There is only 2 point from the crossroad to undo in this devo route, green point can be undo after learning Hawk, red point can be undo after learning Rat.

Venomlash is great because of the increased dots duration, plagueblood is kinda good aswell, agony is not that good for this build.
To answer the question about which one i will pick, i guess i have a slight leaning for Venomlash.
You can also consider Plaguebearer of Dreeg which is probably the best you can have before 5/5 Dreeg set.

I tried this build im only lvl 10, but I think it lacks effective main attack skill, blood of dreeg has 4 sec cooldown its too slow to kill stuff

Don’t use the transmuter right at first (actually play him as a nearly pure Occultist for the first 50 level)

Once you have Mark of Dreeg Component you will have 2 main atk skill + Blitz to move from one pack to the other. At this point you can consider taking the Transmuster to have that 4 Sec CD (higher DoT) to be able to get into the Kitting option.

At end level you will have 1 Skill on an 8 Sec CD (Relic) DEE and Siegebreaker on a 4Sec and the skill from the component on a 2.5 Sec CD. Alternating between those 4 with the DoT make for a super fast kill speed anyway most Trash die on hit from DEE you just need to learn to place it so it impact a lot of stuff. Also the Devotion (Abomination for exemple) will give a huge AoE that will allow you to clear a full screen of mob on a single cast and let the DoT actually kill the Boss while moving around.

thanks Drizzto for your answer, an other question any faction you recommend to choice
Kymon’s Chosen or Death’s Vigi?

[QUOTE=Drizzto;503412]Devotion route is straight forward, there is no particular undo except crossroad. (chaos & eldritch)

In order:
1 - Akeron’s Scorpion
2 - Jackal
3 - Manticore
4 - Hawk
5 - Rat
6 - Scolar’s light
7 - Eel
8 - Behemot
9 - Wendigo’s Mark
10 - Abomination
11 - Ulzuin’s Torch
12 - Revenant

Are you sure about scholar light because fire damage is not a need?

I’m honestly really interested in trying Fevered Rage with this build, at least against Nemeses in vanilla.

Is the attuned loadstone in your medal chosen purely for the +8% all dmg and crit dmg?

i dont take it for fire damage, feel free to adapt the devotion route to your liking.

Its prolly really good, even for cruci.

Mostly for the 5% crit damage (8% all dmg is near nothing), dont hesitate to get ride of it if you need some resistance.

No no it was more that I was trying to understand, and surprised that there is nothing equivalent to Scolar’s light but without losing 1 devotion point on the fire damage.

What are the component in your amulet and boots?

Focusing prism and mark of modrogen. Clearly listed in the OP btw

Hey first of all thanks for all the great guides. As a player who just started, they help me alot. I got a question as I consider starting a second character. I want to try either Dee witchblade or your cold blademaster, now I ask myself if both are equally easy to gear? Also are both equally good farming the vanilla content? Thx for helping me out in advance

I will give you my opinion on the DEE Witchblade.

It is stupidly easy to gear for Vanilla. Build him a little bit more Caster if you are lacking the Shield (as it makes an AMAZING difference) without the skill point in the shield skill you will have point to distribute in other defensive stat and the caster off-hand will give you a great help in Damage.

WITH the Shroud of Dreeg the character come to life to his full potential but he is easily able to clear all Vanilla and to fight Nemesis (while being cautious - Fabius will see a lot of kiting and Moosie will require a potion against Freeze I did them with the Off-Hand and without a single piece of Dreeg. With the Set (and the Shield) you can facetank the Nemesis

hi,
Love this built lvl 50 so far, for the end game gears how come Dreeg don’t have legs for high level in purple and you use some green one’s?
Is there really nothing better to gear up with?

it seems the Witch God Dreeg skipped his leg days!

seriously though… leg/pants are used mainly for their resistances… feel free to use whatever pants you can come up with like maybe wraithborne legwraps for more oa and bleed res or nidalla pants for perhaps more dps… but be prepared to suffer a bit in your defenses… experiment with what you have and make the most of it!

I would love to make it work with Fevered Rage but I don’t begin to choose which points to remove to follow the Bloody Pox tree in Occultist.

Has someone tried it? How was it for cruci?

Anyways, thanks a lot for this build, it’s a bit hard to gear for but I’m having a ton of fun
