[Warder] 100k+ DAMAGE TANK-CANNON Procs Causing Procs (Endlessly!) HC Ultimate 100% Done (SF Gear)

How does this build compares with jajaja savagery conjurer ?

is there any link for skill build without gear?

Fun build. Accurate title. Easy to read and well explained guide. I also appreciate your thoughtful responses and corrections.

Your HC video demos really demonstrate your claims.

Well done.

First of all, congrats for the amazing detailed guide. You’ve really put a lot of effort in making this guide!

I don’t understand how should I distribute my attribute points while leveling up. I imagine that spirit points are allocated only at end-game levels? Should I put the 10 cunning points immediately at start and then focus on physical?

Finally settled on this as my second character to play through the game.
Now that I have my farming saboteur to level 85, I’ll be able to successfully feed other characters.

Great guide, looking forward to the play through.

Currently, i’m trying to level a similar character in normal but using a Witchblade instead of a Warder, i’m up to level 39 using Cadence/Fighting Form instead of Devouring Swarm and tried to shift my points in both of these all over to defense (namely finishing off the Soldier mastery bar, maxing Menhir’s Bulwark and the rest into Overguard/Shield Training) and picking up some new gear.

The retaliation damage is amazing, I even backtracked to Smuggler’s Basin and was able to tank Gutworm and drop him rather quickly.

The reflect on the other hand, isn’t. At this point, the only damage reflect I have is 25% from Messenger of War and another 16% if i affix a Mark of the Myrmidon to my shield for 41% and any ranged hero or boss is an issue as they take way too long to kill. The two i had issues with were Bolvar and the Wraith of Sorrows and I know there are more like them coming up such as Zaria, Karroz (before his transformation) and Thalonis.

Is there something i’m missing here? Really, i’de assume it’d be better to continue using Devouring Swarm or Cadence in my case until a bit into Elite, pick up Shield Wall (and bind it to War Cry for a 100% proc) and use it for the huge boost in reflect when needed (between 50% and 125%).

Hi,

Wouldn’t want to make a new thread about this.

Anyone here (maybe even the OP) ever made a dedicated Dawnbreaker build? I mean take it as far as possible? If so what is the max reflect you got on it.

It seems to me that this set encourages not only reflection but also active participation in combat.

What throws me off the most is the Stormcallr pact + skills when everyone takes menhir for retaliation. Any thoughts on this too?

thank you

In the original devotion list, (1-74), OP suggests taking Rhowan’s Scepter. But RS requires using a mace.

I took those same six points and threw them into Hammer and Lion for stats that are decent for a character and still get you the required yellow and purple nodes- and you don’t have to put anything into crossroads points to unlock Oleron.

If you have a mace, of course Scepter would be ok, but I was using Guillotine, so it wasn’t going to help.

Unless of course, I am entirely missing something about Rhowan’s Scepter.

Does this work in 1.0.0.5 with the latest hotfix?

With the final devotion setup, (I am now at level 75 and can do try this out for reals), you suggest using the Hound.

I have a suggestion/question perhaps.

Why not instead take the Eel? This way you get 5 primordial for 3 dev points instead of 4 primordial for 3 dev points. This frees up a dev point from crossroads, which means after finishing Spear you have six dev points instead of five. This is actually a large difference. This allows you, if you so desire, to get Hourglass’s Time Dilation or Revenant’s Raise Dead, or Chariot’s heal.

Here are the stats between Eel and Hound, is the difference worth missing out on another devotion skill?

Hound: 25 physique, 5% armor, 66 retaliation, +30% ret. dmg
Eel: 40 DA, 2% chance to dodge melee and ranged, 10% pierce resist.

You’re not really specced for ret. dmg, are you? The pet bonuses obviously are no good, so I didnt include them.

Or you could even take out both crossroad points, throw 3 into hawk and get Rowan’s Crown for some more elemental dmg.

It just seems like going Eel over Hound gives you a lot more versatility in how you approach that final constellation choice.

Thank you for this complete build guide
Very fun to play and it works great’

I did the same thing… Gets you into Oleron 2 points earlier, and provides usable bonuses. What I’m not sure on is if the scepter bonuses would be better if you did have a mace, even though you need the 2 crossroads points for Oleron.

Hi there,

New to the game, i used your build and got only one charracter. I just hit 75 and switch to the lightning part of it (beginning of act2 ultimate). Went very well till 74 and the physical build and there comes the drama… I’m glass cannon and get raped by the first mobs i cross

Any advice to help ? (as I may miss aether crystal respec 10 times is not a viable option)

thx

ps : 2nd question : i was unable to respec the turtle devotion points, get blocked. U know why ? (tooltip in the game is not very clear)

I tried this build, may the worst i have ever seen.

your tank nothing, you are really fragile even against the logorhĆ©en, Loxmere shotgun you…

It’s nice to get 100k+ but it’s useless if you can’t tank anything.

For example, jajaja saboteur get now 73-80k but this character destroy nemesis, logorhĆ©en… et get far in crucible.

I am disapointed by this build sorry

I’ve been delighted by this build and was planning on posting my own video of me using it in the crucible. It’s the only build I’ve done so far where I’ve been able to clear all waves on multiple difficulties and maintain 10x bonus throughout. I wonder if that means I got a perfect score?

My friend is starting this build after seeing mine and I’m going to power level him in the crucible! Not even sure I want to play the campaign anymore, the crucible makes it seem not as exciting.

Tx Squib great build!

Trying this build, I’m only missing ultos hood, chest and amulet but my sheet dps is only 28K, did this get nerfed or do those 3 pieces somehow account for like…100K missing sheet dps?

Thats dps 100k+ its with all procs and also its a squish build, I tried this build and its shit/outdatted.

Take a look the resists, 30% bleeding, 30% aether. LOL

Needs all resists 75%+

It is squishy. I can’t take fabius, but it can tank moose and benn. I’m still missing 3 ultos pieces but with all procs rolling my dps gets to 35K, nowhere near his. My question is what the heck was changed since his build was posted to result in that big a dps difference?

His dps its because he’s full dps and with all procs on, I tested that build and with all procs on, indeed was that DPS, but squish as fuck.

And his DPS its just in the paper, my warder shows 53k dps just with some buffs, with all procs its 80k~90k and hited 200k+

So

I don’t hit anywhere near that missing three pieces. Mu highest crit on fabius is like 28k…
