Water construction

Hi everyone, i am at my first game and i got on a map with a lot of big lakes and i was thinking that it could be great to have some possibilities to build some things on water. Like bridges, fishing boats, ferrys. because some times i have ressources just on the other sides of the lake, not quite far but i have to make it around the lake which some times the distance is two to three times longer.

Something we’ve been musing about is creating an overworld where you can interact with other cities/nations to enact trade and diplomacy. Having that tie into maritime trade would be pretty cool, but all this is Definitely beyond what we can cram into v1.0."

First of all, I will definitely buy it. Build a wall and dig a moat. A trading ship comes to the moat. This is very cool. And I’d also like to see the trade system change significantly. A trading system like Ostriv is the system I really dream of. This is a system where only the market price exists, excluding randomness in the type of product. If it is difficult to send trade, this is a system where negotiations are held in the winter and the goods are delivered in the spring.
