We propose to change the name of the bow manufacturing plant to tool manufacturing plant.(feat. fishing rood, wooden arrow, crude weapon)

When you first start, you are given a fishing rod. When you use up all the iron arrows initially given, you must make wooden arrows and use them. Wooden arrows have weaker damage than iron arrows.(conclusion : Users are forced to vary their food from the beginning. Because meat production is low, rapid growth is not possible.)
Additional information : Wood and flax are consumed for fishing rods. Iron arrows add iron to recipes.(reason : It is difficult to produce in the beginning.)

Hunters can only move one deer at a time. I don’t know why this isn’t updating. If you hunt a lot of deer in the beginning, the evolving system should be discarded. Create a system that develops quickly only if you have a variety of food resources. Hunters produce more meat than anglers and also provide leather and tallow. Does the Crate even care about balance? If you do this, you will complain and criticize me again. Is it really okay to ignore a problem that deserves only a little bit of attention?

There are no differences in arrows. There’s only one type. Being forced to vary your food is a good thing in this game, especially early on, as this will help reduce illnesses like scurvy and will build a good foundation for later in the game, as you need several food sources to be able to upgrade your homes. Not sure what you mean by fishing rods, as these are not a thing in this game, and flax is not used in any way for fishing.

You can get many types of foods from the very beginning, so rapid growth is absolutely possible.

I can agree with you that fish are not a high producer in the game, and could use some balancing, but considering this game is still in Early Access, there are many other projects they should focus on instead of some small balancing issues that can wait until full release.

Crate is doing an awesome job with this game, and they do listen a lot to their fan base.

This post is not a post announcing changes, but a bulletin board for posting things you wish to change. I know there are a lot of projects. However, it is not difficult to reduce meat production, increase fish production, and change hunters to only move one deer. I wouldn’t have said anything if it was difficult. It’s not that it’s difficult, it’s that I don’t care.

And is this a small balance issue? If so, please change your thinking. This is a huge problem in controlling the initial growth rate of your village.

Why are all the answers here like this? All you have to do is write down the reasons along with the pros and cons. Did I insult you? I’m just making a suggestion. Are you crazy?

Whether you agree or oppose is up to you and you have to say why.

There’s no need to change my thinking. The way I play the game, it is a non-issue. I always have 12+ months of food supply, which is more than enough to have the highest birth and immigration rates.

I’m currently in a game where I have no access to water in my start area and therefor no fish at all in my village, and I still have no issues growing my city at a high pace.

If you want to disagree with me, say something that contradicts the situation I’m talking about. I said that if we only hunt deer, the village will develop rapidly, so we need to increase fishing efficiency. I would like to change the development of the village to require gathering a variety of food resources, and limit the way the population can grow as rapidly as it does now. But doesn’t it make sense that you just repeat the issues I mentioned and disagree with my opinion? Are you saying you just want to hunt deer and simply enjoy the game?

Flax can be used for nets, a simple casting net which can be used where there is a shoal of fish (fish icon.)
