I was planning on trying the 9.6 in two weeks. But it still doesn’t work. I think you may break your promise a few times. But doing this every time is an act of deception.
Considering the devs aren’t even up yet being based in the US don’t say they’re breaking promises when they’re not.
Region doesn’t matter. On November 23rd, they said they would conduct a test within two weeks.
No, they said they expected the testing to start in the next couple of weeks.
And Zantai said here
Actually, they said it would be within 2 weeks on November 23rd, but it was postponed to Monday, right? This post is an official post, and the post posted by the administrator is a personal response.
No, they didn’t.
He then said in the other thread that it will start Monday.
If promises had been kept well in the past, we wouldn’t have had to worry about them like we do today. And it’s 9 PM on Monday in Korean standard. Let’s wait again based on Washington, USA. I don’t think there’s any need to apologize because the responsibility for failing to mention the time standard lies with the manager. However, we ask you to be careful when scheduling an appointment.
There may be cultural differences, but Korea is good at keeping business promises. It is a country famous for preparing military supplies and ships on time.
And Crate are good at giving us more all the time so may occasionally be a bit behind their schedule, but they always deliver.
This is because it is always late. I hope you can make an appointment with some time to spare. If you develop it, you may not be able to do it. But that shouldn’t happen often.
They can take all the time they need in my opinion - loving every minute of FF!
I also respect your thoughts. However, it is not fun to log in every time to check for updates.
I want to log in and enjoy the game at the appointed time while doing my own thing.
I can understand your frustration, I’ve been holding off starting a new town for the past 3 weeks waiting for the next iteration myself - but as they say; absence makes the heart grow fonder!
I’m angry because it seems like the developers are intentionally creating this deficiency.
I don’t know if there is something lost in translation, but I’ve observed a very consistent pattern in how you post on this forum which makes me wonder if this is just how you treat everyone, or just how you talk at developers. Might want to think about how you come across when speaking to other human beings.
When we said we expect the playtest to start in two weeks, no promise was made. It was a declaration of our expectation. In fact, this is how we announce all dates with the exception of patch releases (not playtests), because everything is an estimate. If we wanted to give ranges with confidence, I would tack on another 2-4 weeks onto everything so we had a buffer, and you would be left wondering every time.
On Friday, I made the decision to postpone it to Monday because there were a couple known issues still and I saw no reason to make the team work late on a Friday night to rush something out. However, at the time I felt confident that the playtest will start on Monday.
We are a US East Coast-based studio. If this was news to you, then now you know. Monday means sometime between 9AM and 6PM US Eastern Time on Monday December the 9th. The work day has only just started here.
So if your expectation was that this would occur on Monday on the other side of the world, when everyone here was asleep, then I am sorry to disappoint you, but you may need to realign your expectation of what our “promises” mean.
There certainly seems to be a cultural difference. In Korea, a scheduled event refers to something that may be delayed or brought forward in time. In America, it seems like whenever something is postponed, we call it an schedule. You observed me carefully. I appreciate it. My opinion is not binding. But I will voice my opinion if the game doesn’t go the way I want it to. I also suggest a lot of ideas. It’s up to you to decide whether to listen to it or not. I try my best not to say unreasonable things. For example, things that require a lot of investment in development.
I think this game is well made. However, I can’t let go of the expectation that if it’s just a little bit more polished, it will become a god game. I think that expectation makes the words a bit aggressive. When other users say absurd things, I feel like they are ruining godgame. Hmm… I guess I need to have a broader mind, too.
Oh buddy
Come to such an office in Russia,
They would send you so far that even the Siberians wouldn’t know where it is))
I understand that your cultural tendency to overwork is affecting you.
But developers are people too, and creative ones at that. Let them spend as much time as necessary.
As a player, I’m looking forward to the next patch and polish.
But respect the work of the developers and their time.
