on the ambient/minimalist topic - lots of you have probably heard of Brian Eno. Harold Budd is not nearly as well known, but from a composition standpoint is really top-notch. Check out this piece that they did together (and do a deep headphone dive on Budd if you can)

But overall no, Steeleye Span songs seems like more into tavernish willy-nilly folk while this musician is more into rock. E.g. this is one of his first songs: Pavel Plamenev - Gamer
