What kind of music are you listening to?

The first track is not bad, but does not really excite me. The second one is decent, until the cleanly sung chorus ruins it for me.

If you like Nordic themed metal, I recommend

It is also one of the few songs without growling, which I purchased in recent years, that I like.

Classic.

I just found this guy on youtube. Rather clever the way he does this.

Maybe you also like Smooth McGroove then

FF7’s version of the victory fanfare must be the best version of it, and he really caught its atmosphere.

Yeah, I saw that name mentioned on youtube. I’ll have a look at him as well.

Niiiiice:

I listen to just about everything except for dixieland jazz, contemporary country and current “hip-hop” all the kids are twerking to. A handful of my favorite artists/bands of all time would include:

James Brown
Curve
Killing Joke
The Devin Townsend Project
Public Enemy
Built To Spill
Monster Magnet
anything involving Mike Patton

Pretty good, @eisprinzessin might like this.

That is not after my fancy. I do like this classic

Not a hip hop/rap fan. I respect the classics and listen to them occasionally. Sometimes though, a song comes around that is timeless. Thanks to my brother I found this one:

In the Absence of Truth has me in it’s beautiful grasp once more:

Pretty cool. Almost like Nirvana turned psychedelic-metal.

As I Lay Dying gets me every time still.
