What was your first build ever?

My first build was when early access started after the kickstarted. I had a pure oculist and after a while i took a pure soldier, which was way more tanky

A Dual wield Nightblade
Don’t even remember if I had a pure element, cause only act 1 was available

If memory serves me well, Druid with Primal strike in 2016

Then Sorcerer, Trickster, Saboteur …

First character was a dual-wield Blademaster. I think the level cap was around 35, and the game stopped around Sorrow’s Bastion with the ā€œyou have reached the end of the contentā€ message. This probably saved me from realizing how bad my build really was by not being able to go any further

I’m quite sure I had no idea of the importance of offense and defense, I was just too excited to use my new Duelist’s Sabre! Standard bosses required hit-and-run tactics, or straight up Zerging. Good times.

Primal strike Conjurer. Leveled till somewhere around level 70 AoM came out, rendering it obsolete. Gave up character for a vindicator

Leveled a vindicator to level 100. Still no ultos set with 2 mule stashes full of legendaries. 7 Jaxxons. Gave up and ran Jaxxons, 2x Dagallon with dagallon armor and savagery Vindicator. Dagallon ended up gotten remade for fire strike. Gave up character for a purifier.

Remade a Purifier with Arcaneweaver and the leftover Dagallon set. The only character thus far which didnt died due to changes. Levelled to 100, could clear lokarr etc, but stuck at Celestials. Decided to try something more tanky for FG.

Levelled a ranged retal Paladin. Used leftover dagallon pistol, Jaxxons (again, see the pattern here?), utilizing the fact that RDATA goes for full for all storm spread/chilling rounds/jaxxon’s shot bullet + tankiness with shield to kill off super-bosses like Ravager, Callagadra, etc. Retired it after the recent patch nerfed everything retal, RDATA and Oathkeeper related in that build.

Went back to primal strike vindicator recently, since i finally got enough ultos parts to convert into the damn helm.

I’m pretty new and still playing my first character! Cadence warder with a splash of lightning/bleed damage because it sounded cool. Feel like the switch to Savagery might be necessary if I decide to do that instead of Deadly Momentum… I’m still learning the ropes so I’m just having fun with it!

I’m looking forward to more builds in the future.

That’s the best thing to do.

Welcome to the game and to the forum.

oh that’s easy, my first build was Soldier because it was one of the only classes available during the first playable build

Shaman/Occultist - Conjurer

I did the same, for the same reasons. It’s still my favorite Mastery Combo to this date. I just love it a lot, even though other stuff is easier to play/more potent in endgame stuff like SR.
