Dawnguard/Dawnshield sets are one of the oldest sets in the game (the second one is a little younger) and were originally created for a direct lightning or lightning retaliation warder, as evidenced by the bonuses provided. However, with the release of the FG, the Sets have been reworked into an 5-piece epic Oathkeeper class set, although they retain the soldier and shaman bonuses. Now the sets can be used for 3 builds: warder, warlord or archon. But wait, the set gives bonuses to Righteous Fervor branch, which deals physical and fire damage by default. Using it as a main attack you will only get profit from WD and RAtA. In addition, the set takes up 4 gear slots out of 5 that could contain an item with a granted modifier for Lightning RF . This is definitely mind boggling. Even in the epic compendium there is only a warder for this set, neither a warrior nor an archon.
Therefore, I suggest adding the fire to lightning conversion to the set. This can be done for one or more of: torso, shoulders, helmet and set bonus.
What do you think about that? May be you have viable builds for it?
