This. They could just fix the bug itself - remove it’s ability to trigger everything at once, while still can be attached to offensive devotions, but it seems they either can’t or don’t want to do it.
This is the case.
cast blade spirit and use RoS to proc the third devotion. You won’t have automatic effortless AoE but you’re still clearing faster than a purifier that can’t facetank iron maiden.
Right, still not good though. Not sure if we’re on the same page or if you understand the point. Basically it’s like this, Dw Pierce blademasters enjoy playing the class because right now it’s decent in crucible. After the fix, it won’t be as decent anymore so it becomes less enjoyable. Right now you can still farm crucible as a dw Pierce blademaster quite efficiently and reliably (fast with no deaths), after the patch you probably will want to use to different class or build to farm crucible.
Working as intended. Not sarcasm.
But other bosses, like Uroboruk’s Guardian or Warden Krieg, retain their “2-phase” mechanics even in Crucible.
The mian problem of Kupacabra is Crucible will be his insane healing, that works not only for him, but also for all other enemies. So, if you dont have -100% healing or godly DPS, you probably will be just screwed. So his healing should be removed, or nerfed drastically.
And Nullifier for Arcane heroes in AoM and Gravatul is also absolutely ridiculous, and should be removed. It will be completely retarded to lose all buffs including the ones you paid your tributed.
I hope, Crate will just fix the bug with damaging auras procs, and adds ability to bind offensive devotions to all of them.
The simplest way to resolve this is to take out the dev skills that are op on whirling blades - veeery simple !
They said it’s gonna be removed/adapted in latest AOM update.
“And don’t worry about certain Arcane heroes and Nemesis encounters. As with Loxmere before them, they will be adjusted accordingly for the Crucible.”
Having played pierce infil, the superior build, I know this ‘decent’ amounts to basic enemies vaporizing before you can click on them. 50% of the time you’re not even attacking, just walking to enemies and they die. Sorry. Gonna have to play the game again.
Dude, just give up. Offensive devotion procs will not be able to bound to Whirling Blades (or any offensive aura for that matter) because it was never intended in the first place.
Either adapt or move on to something else.
His attitude towards this issue is the problem I hate when changes occur, some people get too dependent on a single feature
I am not a fan of nerfs but beating a dead horse won’t do you any good mate, get over it. Play the patch and post a feedback, I want to see how a BM fares after this nerf and hopefully future patches would buff Pierce BMs. With skill mods they can easily buff Pierce and avoid buffing any other type of BM.
