Still it is funny that these gods need humans.
Suspicious, you mean.
Seems like the Witch Gods were also once mortal. Tsk, tsk.
Even Gods need some hobbies i guess
I don’t know if a thread like this is about agreeing or disagreeing. Every opinion here is very subjective and only the devs really “know/create” what is really up.
Since we are picking sides I’ll step out of my bubble and think of them separately.
Dreeg to me is less of a d%&k than solael or bysmiel. Not that the abilities related to him are my favorite, on the contrary, but there you go
Actually i don’t see what is wrong with agreeing and disagreeing. Instead of putting forwards a counter-point i simply said i disagree, implying my opinion is either slightly or completely different than yours.
As for picking sides well, I went with dreeg due to his abilities and same reason as you of him being less of a d**k. I like Solael as well since he is nice enough to possess us and offer us 12% damage absorption.
On a side-note, i’m kinda surprised to see Bysmiel not getting any votes. Is it because of the lack of lore and dedicated skills?
It’s probably becuase summon builds tend to be less popular. I like the skills, love the hellhound look yet I haven’t made apet build.
They are also a bit tricky to make and some top tier one requires very specific gear, like the one made by the chineese community folks
Yeah, same here haven’t made a pet build yet either. Did that chinese guy’s build get nerfed? I mean he did best the Beast God at his own game (killed him in 3 mins?)
Zantai posted there and said
I think it’s fair:) The nerf won’t be great like in other cases i think. There has to be some reward for coming up with a special build.
Never said it wasn’t. It’s kinda insane to wreck a that guy in such a short time (even though he’s a giant douche). It’d be disappointing if it wasn’t nerfed. Still though impressive feat to pull it off. I recall someone said on the thread that by simply copying the build he couldn’t replicate the feat of killing Mogdrogen

The attack speed bonuses from Kraken don’t show up on character sheet despite using a two-hander. Bug or intended?
…and do it with lightning damage, beating him at his own game as you said. Jajaja’s elemntalist did it in 10 minutes and that is the highest melee lightning damage one can acheive with Ultos due to Thermites.
3 minutes is insane.
It shows up to me perfectly fine.
My favourite Witch God is Solael mainly because of Possession. I just like the concept of the buff, being possessed by a higher being but still be in full control. Plus the animation when you activate it is awesome and the red aura is awesome too, it makes me feel like some sort of Super Saiyan.
Still wish the buff didn’t need energy regen to be active or at least the regen cost was lower.
I’ll take another look.
Also, Super Saiyan God was kind of redish
Maybe Solael was assisting Goku in his fight against Beerus

OFF-TOPIC
Don’t want to make a new thread for this.
Having played with a few demolitionist hybrids all of which had a Blast Shield at decent levels, i was more than happy to take Turtle shell devotion. Right now my maxed Turtle shell should be absorbing 2k or so. And yet while it’s activated i find it to be all but useless for it’s duration (does it even have any?)
My question is regarding whether i understood the mechanics correctly or not.
Blast Shield:
If three targets attack me in succession during the duration of the Blast Shield which is now said to absorb 900 damage, then it would mean that from every individual hit (melee, ranged or unclassified) i will take 900 less damage. Meaning if 3 targets hit me for 1000 damage each (3000 in total) then i would only take 300 damage in total.
Tortoise:
My initial impression of this was that it was a Blast Shield on steroids. But now if i had to guess then basically it will be up till your character takes 2k damage (or however much it’s meant to absorb) and then dissipate. Doesn’t matter if it’s from a single source or multiple ones, the shell is only meant to absorb 2k damage and not more
Is my understanding of both skills correct?
/bump/bump
Balst Shield - Not only it absorbs from each individual target for the duration of the shield but it also, as far as I know, aborbs each individual damage type, Total absorption like in titan quest dream mastery distortion field.
Same would go for overguard.
Like if an enemy does 1000 chaos and 500 vitality with 1 hit and blast shield aborbs 1000 dmg, vitality will be fully absorbed, and so will chaos damage so you take no damage. That is why it’s so great and same for overguard.
Tortoise - is the opposite, it’s just 2600 extra “hp”. A good tier 1 circuit breaker nevertheless
