You can hire them as mercenaries, but they are temporary and cannot be controlled directly.

Re-spawning raider camps, different locations each time, prompted by disgruntled villagers, especially ones who run off with weapons. When villagers decide to leave they do a spot of violence and damage buildings they steal from?

What’s a vine plant?

hello friend. How are you doing in Australia? What I want is to defeat the bandits and respawn some distance away from the village. We get wood from trees and weeds. Trees regenerate, but weeds do not. So the forest becomes monotonous towards the end.

I would definitely welcome for the game to have more “ingame events” per year, which can be optionally enabled and set up in cadence.

If I take for example the game “Northgard”, there they have during years in matches different events, which can contribute to victory conditions or pose a risk to them. It can range from extra harsh winters to invasion of mythic creatures, contribution contests for additional progress for win conditions, etc.

I can imagine that having more “optional environmental changes” for the gameplay would enrich the gameplay loop of Farthest Frontiers.

Like, imagine last year Wolf population did grow, so a few Wolf dens did (re)spawn on the map. Next year your settlement experienced an Earthquake, which destroyed/damaged some buildings. We already have Invasion Armies and Bandit Attacks or Droughts. But it would be neat to have also some more “off-combat” variations that aren’t just Foes and Weather.

As a tip, prevent harvesting trees near plant spawns. Otherwise they die out due to lack of biodiversity in the area. If you strategically wait for harvesting woods and focus on getting one (or more) worker camps to the 2nd tier, you can replant trees for wood.

Also, you can manually plant trees for gold, which can also be harvested for wood (may not be efficient tho).
