I’d heard that the Switch was a no-go because of hardware capability which is fair enough, so maybe the Switch 2? But this game should be on all formats, cross-play (with PC) and couch co-op for the consoles that can handle it.
ANY arpg of this type should follow those aspirations, as that’s where the longevity and customers are.
I didn’t care much for Diablo 3, but once I tried it on PS3 with couch co-op I was hooked. I recommended The Ascent to friends for the same reason.
Grim Dawn deserves to be experienced more as it’s incredibly robust, has bags of content and goes for a unique setting/style that sets it apart.

A mobile port would be neat. I tried Titan Quest on Android and it works pretty well.
Grim Dawn works great on the Steam Deck. It’s a shame that it feels so clunky with a controller, maybe even more than Titan Quest. Grim Dawn also gives an error about the Steam Deck screen being an unsupported resolution for controller GUI.
Inventory management could be better and when items are selected with a controller in inventory the highlighting is barely visible.
They need a developer kit to really make the game work at i’s best on consoles. They are only able to do 1080p on series x for that reason if I remember correctly. Can’t recall the reasoning for PS, probably legal this or that I’m sure. But yes you’re right, more people need to support Crate. They’ll love it if they’re arpg fans.
Friend at work has a potato pc but has a ps5 (sons) plays D3 with a phenom and a gtx470. Sadly GD is a no go for him.
