Video is in crucible where you can buy buffs that increase your health, among other things. He’s got 16k before crucible buffs. You’re not too far from 16k
Ah that makes sense then. Ty
Hi Fluff,
I am struggling to beat Lokkar and Grava in the campaign. With Lokkar I sometimes bring him down to about 50% hp, but he always kills me. Idk if its some kind of attack or something that he uses but I cant comfortably leech from him. I tried to increase life steel from 7 to 12 %, it definitely made a difference (wasnt even able to bring him down lower than 80% before), but its still impossible.
I think the biggest problem is my armor (only about 2100). I can easily face tank him with my justicar purifier, but he has 2800 armor and despite having almost none physical resist (my conjurer has like 40%), its just much easier to face tank him and sustain him.
Grava is straight up impossible, he just melts me in 1 second. It might be the same case as with Lokkar that my armor is just too low? Cos with my purifier I can face tank him easily as well (except the balls he casts).
My build for reference https://www.grimtools.com/calc/Q2zol4lV (dps sits around 165 K with auras without savagery charge)
Is there anything I could improve, or are those guys just not meant to be killable with this build?
thanks in advance
you shouldn’t get 1 shot by grava really. Not with this amount of HP. Try Avenger Belt. When grava freaks out 5 seconds into the fight raising his arms up dodge the incoming nullify projectile by stepping away 3 m from him and take a hard left or right. Takes 2-3 seconds to do but it’s worth. It the only thing that poses a threat to an end game build.
Idk about Lokarr. Try a haunted steel in axe and when the shit hits the fan activate the ability (before ghoul activates so you have a backup after the ability is over)
Hey, mr. Fluff, have you tried Twin Fangs? I have a habbit on sticking it onto any build with high base damage because it’s kinda broken even if you don’t use the flat pierce/vita. It’s around 45% weapon damage @45% lifesteal since both hit the primary target, and the 6% passive adcth is worth it on it’s own. You can easily switch points around since you would save 3 points by default (switching from scholar’s light to just the green crossroad and removing the red crossroad), so only a point from Ultos and Tempest would have to be removed, and you don’t get much from those anyway. Edit: Speaking of which, isn’t 5% health from yellow crossroad better than 50% lighting dmg from Tempest?
No idea what to use for proccing Ultos then, Grasping vines procs things reasonably well, but that’s another button to push -_-
Mr. General Sir!
I’m gooing to quote from the guide cause i really don;t know how to advertise how good the combo is in any other way:
" The main skill hits in readius AoE and to this you add Torrent and Hand of Ultos %weapon dmg, cutting corners and annihilating swaths of enemies, including grouped Nemeses."
The main deal of Ultos, be it Conjurer or other variation is have obnoxious amount of Dmg so that things dissapear and you also get huge lifesteal.
It aslo has Great AoE with PS/Torrent/ Ultos and very solid Lifesteal from all teh added % weapon dmg.
I think Bat would just encumber the builds streamlined gameplay and dmg. With or without bat it’s instant hp.
Better just get ghoul instead of Jackal. If the shit hits teh fan, 6 sec of overdrive AS/lifesteal and phys res i all you need to eliminate any threats

I love fangs, but this build has no shortage of sustain. I’d much rather include flame torrent for more single target. Looking at devos we can include it pretty easily like you said

This build has so much hp and sustain I don’t think 5%hp beats out 50% lit/elec
Why build in OP has so little ADCTH? It feels far safer when you restore full hp in just 1-2 hits. Why dont use Haunted Steel and Restless Remains? Also, i see no point in investing into Tempest, the damage increase is marginal at best. Why dont invest those points into Revenant, and get ADCTH, AS, HP, and other bonuses. And what about skill disruption resistance? Every time i get affected by it with this build, it fells like a big “F*CK YOU” appears in front of the screen, as i can do nothing but be raped by enemies. Rare rings with proper mod might do the job, though getting ones with proper mods isnt easy at all… There is an epic ring with that resist too, though. Oh, and why use that “Ancient Armour plate” and “Enchanted Earth”? Those components arent doing anything useful actually…
As you can see in the video I’m am doing well even with atrocious lag. Feel free to change it as you would want but I wouldn’t generalize.
Just get Ghoul if anything. It’s more than enough. And tempest isnot marginal it adds up if you wnt to kill as fast.
In fact i’ve done 2x glyph too for under 7 min if no lag. This build doesn’t need DA apparently
Haunted Steel is a big dps loss and Seal of Blades gives a strong buff. Ancient Armor plate and Enchanted Earth give % armor which is pretty useful. Plus the former caps armor absorption.
And skill disruption resistance sucks because you get disrupted anyway and most of the disrupting skill are acid puddles, meaning you have to get out of them anyway.
You and that Korean guy are gonna get Ultos and Primal Strike nerfed, please!
Guess I’ll just slide this build in here instead of posting it (like I even would find the time for it anyways lol) It will clear 170, even if it is a bit clunky to pilot…
Aether Primal Strike Ritualist https://www.grimtools.com/calc/b283b3zN
How about Temporal Arcblade or Vortex of Souls? Are they inferior options?
Tried Vortex Ritualist before. Was fine and relatively safe but too slow for my tastes. Can barely scrape 12 mins, sometimes you even get 13-14 if you roll all aether resist nemeses (valdaran, alex, reaper). Vindicator could be faster for vortex but haven’t tried it yet. Paper stats look too bland for vindicator.
As to arcblade; the proc is nice and it looks bad ass, but the splitter is a better option imo. A bit faster, has a huge amount of built-in adcth, and most importantly it has physical to aether conversion. Overall nets more primal strike damage and qoL
I haven’t tried vortex
Yeah this is the problem with Aether PS and also Aether Stun Jacks. No great way of converting phys to Aether at 50%+
For SJ i thought of Thisweapon yesterday. Since it also has 20% Cast speed, 50% phys>Aether and a nice Devastation proc it might actually be Decent for SJ at least. But not ideal now is it…
Why Haunted Steel is a DPS loss? We focus on lightning damage, so 10% physical converted into vitality doesnt matter at all.
Well, with 0% skill disruption resist you’ll be “disrupted” 100% of the time, not being able to hit. With 80%, you’ll have a large “window” to use your skills before disruption effects reapplies again (cause it lasts 5 time less longer).
Mobs that disrupt you just die to random AoE you have so once you get affected by disruption just run a bit then continue spamming and repeat till they die. I’m not saying disruption isn’t good. But if you (as the pilot) don’t need it then you don’t get it.
I used HS for leveling from lvl 75 with lvl 75 Ultos. Is that better?
You want HS just use it. I don’t think you really care or even play this build. You just saw something that is odd to you and keep pointing it out.
I posted a build with video(and lag) that works as advertised. To it one can get Ghoul where if whit hits the fan 6 seconds of instant life back is all you will ever need if you want a safety cushion…
Otherwise I like over 2K armor on this build or, even better, a Seal/Amber for another 10% conversion, get Ghoul to compensate for lifesteal loss and get even more dmg hence just as good lifesteal just more dmg.
Leveling from 75 using Ultos set? Is it amateur hour? Gotta use Lokkar’s set till 94 like a baws :D:D:D
