This build has done wonders to ignite my interest in the game as a noob and I’m enjoying smashing shit with a lightning infused 2hander. I wasn’t enjoying the game before trying this one out.
Yep, it did come a long way. I am going to update images in few days. Judicator Seals are the best in slot indeed, unless you find some insane Cronley’s Signets (like Tempest of Dranghoul or some crazy shit like that). Also, I would update my components, but I only posses one pair of Thunderstruck of Kings boots, and currently it’s on my Defiler, my Druid currently wears budget Thunderstruck of Protection. For Main Campaign it’s whatever, this build just too strong for most of the main campaign content, and can clear up to wave 160. Might even clear up to 170 with some luck and good timings.
Well, made some changes in the build, thanks to some of Chton’s Suggestions. It feels better now, despite losing 4% physical resist and bit of hp/armor.
Uploaded a new video: Ancient Grove playthrough. Overall, no sweat, that Basilisk some guys are complaining about was killed without Wendigo Totem (only used Totem once - with final boss). Video does not include killing Manticore Deathstalker which was pretty easy too: I bursted thru half of his hp, then popped mirror and bursted thru other half, took about ~7-8 seconds.
Fight with Gargabol is easy too, just popped a potion for additional fire resit overlay. I did mess up timing on a mirror tho, so had to retreat at the end which is not necessary if you time mirror/nulification correctly.
How do you use the devotions in your grimtools?
I am currently following your guide for my character but I don’t get how you do this.
Your build is awesome btw.
We are Crucible Gladiator 150-170 viable now, bois! All hail Lightning God. Around 12 minute clear times if you play it right with 4 buffs/no banners. I would say it’s pretty safe if you play it right and kill Nemeses at the right order at particular waves. I think AOE of this build is unrivaled really.
Uploaded a video of such clear where I die at the very end when buffs run out (was a second run) and Maiden + Zantarin managed to group hug me (but played horribly throughout the video as I usually do when I record myself).
Upheaval still suck it seems, especially for 1 point investment (going to have 5/10 upheaval with 80% weapon damage). It’s mainly for AOE and we already have huge AOE.
I have tested Cindertouch (albeit on Ultos ranged Vindicator), it’s worse, no attack speed and can’t take Savagery to 24/16 (it’s where 9th charge appears) with it.
I have traded it long time ago, long before AoM. Not even really traded, good steam friend of mine just donated it to me You can use Direwolf’s Crest or even that epic medal that gives spirit/oa/+raging tempest (forgot its name).
You really need just +2 to Primal Strike on Badge to cap it.
Right, just follow my grimtools link and you will be fine. It’s imortant to craft Ultos helmet with Angrim and put Ancient armor into pants. With ~2200 armor and that physical resists you are going to feel comfortable in both Crucible and Main. As Superfluff’s pointed out, get at least 92% armor absorption. I would say 98%+. Put Annihiliation into amulet. Copy paste skill points distribution from my link. There is a reason I made my devotion map look like this too, slow/freeze reisist + movement speed from uncompleted sailor’s guide + total speed from uncompleted Jackal are very important for this build.
And this belt sucks ass for this build completely, you gotta use Avenger’s Girdle, it’s bis here.
Boots are okay, but try to get ahold of Thunderstruck Stoneplate Greaves of something.
I can hook you up with the belt for free, I have 3 on my mule. Add me in steam: mad_lee
You probably missed Hidden Path quest somewhere or didn’t do “The Other you” quest on Ultimate (given by that old witch in Coven after you get the quest to enter the Fleshworks).
