I have a fairly large town around 350 population with multiple work camps spread out into the corners of the map.
It is very tedious to scroll across the map every time I need to traverse long distances.
Being able to zoom out significantly further would be such a nice QOL for movement along the map as well as having a better macro view for the city.
Totally agree, even for smaller town its essential to have at least one extra level of zoom. Or a map. For planing, managing and just feeling their town
Until then, try the camera mod that fixes just that. You can find it via steam, among other sites.
the minimap is really missing, I really want to be able to move the camera by clicking on it
