B14 Change Log (v0.2.0.6 Update)

Awesome to hear, Rhis. I’ve been considering how helpful this feature would be ever since it was suggested not long after alpha’s release. Good to hear you guys are looking to implement something similar, I look forward to seeing it.

I just noticed that Physique and Cunning swapped places in the character window. Thought it was odd.

Nobody’s said it yet, but thank you very much for the greatly reduced cost to refund skills. My Pyromancer was spread a bit too thin but refunding skills was prohibitively expensive. Shame I can’t undo mastery points, though, but I can understand why that is.

When I walk around and hover the mouse over a bad guy I don’t target them. Just keep running.

There’s an option to reenable that in the options menu, this was intentional.

[/li]@Ravaloft - you can turn off “Classic Targeting” in the options. If that was your question.

When it is on, you need to click on each target individually. This way it is easier to kite for ranged players … but combat does not necessarily get better.

Am I completely missing it? I’ve scoured options and options in notepad and see nothing about classic targeting.

General options, right hand side top item.

Yeah,. I swear it wasn’t there at first. I restored everything to default and restarted the game and there it is.

thank you for cating about our loved toons

and the quests in Act 2 sound really promising, can’t wait !

i m so happy for this super cool game.if i have 1 million-$ i give it to you guys to make 10 expansions,but i don t have it rofl((((((((.

Medierra, you forgot to mention that we can navigate with our map window open! That was a very pleasant surprise!

I think we could already do that. :undecided:

Not if you had your cursor IN the map window. At least up until B13 I couldn’t. The toon would run up to the last point assigned by your cursor when you opened your map. Now you start moving, open up the map, and steer around.

Yes, but once you stop and stop holding the mouse button, you’ll stop. Unless you click off the map.

You have to start moving before you can move the cursor onto the map.

True and you are right, you couldn’t move if your cursor was in the map. But you could move around with the map open before, if you clicked anywhere else but the map window. Thats what i meant.

Yes, yes, you are all correct. It’s just that I loved this option from TQ for looooong runs. It was like a racing mini game.

Great, thanks. Software development is a complicated process, so I know dates can be slippery. I didn’t need a specific date, just an idea which you’ve given me. I’m looking forward to the next Grim Misadventure.

I appreciate the reply and info.

one of my buds at work (After telling him about it) already purchased now that its available on Steam.

The reality is that some people depend on steam to find out about new games and this is their platform of choice… good for Crate to have it up on there now… it can only help to get more exposure, and I think once people do find their way to this game they will too be impressed by how much there is here while still in alpha state.

Way to go on this important milestone Crate!

so, does anyone know where the exalted chests are? I ran through quite a bit of terrain (including some caves) and didn’t see any.
