Can Arcane Champions please be COMPLETELY removed already?!

Honestly she at least has proper tells of when her stuff happens… :eyes: :grin:

Problem is that GD has this bug where projectiles stick around for a while if you are not on the screen.
Kind of like with Callagadra’s Sand attack that snakes around and can damage you later. Now imagine nullification coming out of nowhere because you were busy kiting…

Truly, one does wonder what purpose this thread serves given it was posted a mere couple weeks after we announced we are reworking the mechanic (ie. we’ve put measurable time into keeping it as part of the game).

So who is to judge what does and does not add value in here!

If you would’ve had a further read you would’ve known that in my own, personal opinion the whole arcane mechanic as a whole seems flawed.
But oh well… if you think everything in here (including thoughts and feedback of others) isn’t of value might as well close this whole thread down and delete it. :person_shrugging:

I mean…we clearly disagree considering we’ve put development time into making it better. What is the angle here? We have a change of heart and throw our recent work away?

we sure do.
and while I very much get (by now) that you probably wont ever be removing them I still think it’s ok to vent a lil and voice concerns about them.
like: them & the orbs being hart to spot alot of times & there being no real tell of them when they happen (take grava again 4 example where the tell is actually imo good!)

Perhaps Nullification could be limited to the Cthulhu like enemies? (I would even go as far as to say that it could be made into Grava unique mechanic)

or at least, make it so that only big monsters can have Arcane status so that they are easier to spot in a crowd? Though, the bugs that heal each other having nullification isn’t exactly a pleasant thing to run into imo.

bring back food, remove the new ‘one shaft trap per branch’ and don’t destroy nets from net traps.

I like Arcanes, they make SR more fun for me but I already wrote before that these few that are rather blueish than purple (like Vollarius) can totally blend with the ground and other enemies sometimes. Although now I can spot him anyway because I got very sensitive to the name “Vollarius” being displayed (but names of heroes you don’t hover over are only displayed with Grim Internals if I’m not mistaken). Or this guy

My favorite moment in the game is when you get arcane cumblasted in the face while Blood of Dreeg is on cooldown and then some random poison mob farts in your general direction. 10/10 skill issue.

The only thing i don’t like about arcane heroes is the fact this one doesn’t have the Arcane sufffix in its name.
