Howdy 
I was fashioning my Warlord off of your Lazy Retaliation Warlord here: Drunken Fwuffy - Lazy Retaliation Warlord
…and I saw that as of 1.2 the build is out-of-date and that I should come here.
After reading some comments I’m curious:
- Is it possible to face-tank at all with a Sword & Board now that Sunder is a thing?
- Do I need a pet thorn-dog to make this build work?
I was also rocking an Aura of Censure Paladin until I hit a wall at level 85-100 again and couldn’t find a lazy or face-tanky build for a Paladin. (Heart broken, lol)

Full facetanking is not really a thing anymore. It can still be done, but you are going to sacrifice a lot of damage for it. If you are ok with not being able to facetank sunder, then a lot more options open up.
Assuming we are talking about Shaman’s Briarthorn, it s going to be useful only in a pet build.

The only kinda face-tanky things I’ve been able to stumble across have been a regen Warder and and some kind of Archon*(?)* both of which are 2-hander weapon users.
