Cyclone Elementalist after buffs

After addition of Electrocute damage to Wind Devils Ravager timer went down by 4 seconds. Clear still feels muddy and slow despite me pulling multiple bosses together. Tank is good but probably because the way this spec was put together. Despite great numbers everywhere (effective OA, %damage, crit, main spell maxed out) build still lacks firepower. I think the reasons for this are:

  • Wind Devil’s as the main damaging skill is still mid at best even with all the important nodes maxed out and 2 extra summons
  • Thermite Mines part of the set was always and still is fraudulent: it gives extra utility and that’s it, its damage is neglectable
  • There is no Electrocute duration sources and Cyclone set is the main offender. I grabbed everything but Owl in the devotions and still have barely 200% increased duration.

If only WDs and Mines behaved like every other player scaled entity at this point. A Mine stacking build would be so fun. So many items give them flat damage, conversion, extra summons, only for it to basically never be built around. Not to mention the fact the skill has two synergistic nodes yet only one ever ends up getting maxed in any given build. And there’s so many items giving extra Wind Devils or converting the base damage of the Wind Devils, only for that part to be barely useful.
