Dawn of Masteries

first time back since the 1.2 update, and trying out DoM now.
I went with Anchorite, but can’t figure out how to disable one of the stances… I can’t seem to assign it to the bar to use, it is just “on”, which would be nice except for the fact that it gives -80% move speed while on…

Anyone know how I can toggle it?

You can’t. Since 1.2 you cannot disable auras manually.

what means to have those stars in those skills? i know they are celestial powers, but why are they there?

So is there anything that can be done about those skills then to make them usable in the new 1.2? I would love to have the rest of that line later, but no way can i play at -80% movement…

Don’t use the skill, easy solution.

well yea… but an entire class’s ability line is caput from the update? Seems like the mod should get updated to change how that ability works…

Be kind of nice if they stopped tossing out updates and buggering up what they’re fully aware is the game’s best mod…

had never modded the game back in the day, but saw the 1.2 update notes pop-up on steam and then their post sharing mods so went down the rabbit hole.

So yea, pretty surprised that with the 1.2 and then actively signal boosting this mod (amongst a few others) that it would bork some classes (not sure if there are others like this one)

So I am split on what to go…

because a celestial power is hard coded into the skill (from a technical perspective, not one of GD’s celestial powers)

it may come as a surprise to you, but I do not know every skill in the mod, so unless someone points out an issue, it will not be addressed. You were the first…

I have Dawn of Masteries. It includes X-Mod Hoarder. Which makes the inventory too big.

I want to use X-Mod Original from the grim ui site. But it uses its own “custom game.”

How can I replace the Hoarder mod contents with the Original mod contents so I can use a smaller one inventory within the Dawn of Masteries custom game?

I’ve tried Remove X-mod - reverting back standart size inventory

And ran into some strange window overlapping and Skill window being positions offcentered.

Im playing the witchdoctor from the d3 mod and the Medusa Spiders are currently not casting their poison aura, is there any workaround?

it’s identical to the D3 mod version, I am not seeing anything wrong with it, other than the spiders not actually having an investment in the skill, but that is true for the D3 mod as well

Are there any more AAR-type beam spells besides Ray of Frost from Wizard in any of the masteries?

And not the cones, they don’t do it for me - I need the range.

it’s just a rare component, it can drop anywhere, or you can get it from dismantling
