so after seeing the ability teleport on those boots and finding the “teleport” effect of alkamos’ scythe i always wanted to ask (since i havnt found said boots yet)
does the teleport on your item work as in go to mouse pointer and work when ever i want as long as its skill is ready (and maybe threw walls as long as the path target is actually walkable land mass)
or does it work exactly as the scythe and need a hostile target (and not threw walls)
You can go anywhere you want even without target and even in places ou are not supposed to reach, I think I reduced the cooldown to 2.2 seconds.
Yes you go to the mouse pointer, even through walls or locked doors.It’s instant, I made a video in the topic to show how it works.

will the item rarity always be green? i normally play the game with the show loot above blue only cause Dail"S" makes alot of mobs spawn and massive loot drop lol would making it blue or even purple make it harder to drop?

I didn’t test melee build : is freeze/stun/retaliation/reflection of any help again him ?

I don’t know the exact build of riidii but he is using a blademaster, so maybe it’s a melee build and has killed Omega Nemesis.
About Riidi, well that’s one person with a maxed character (lvl 100, full set, and maybe an OP build) saying it was easy for him.
My own character is 85, has no problem with any of the bosses or nemesis in game even with Grimmest at medium, and can be played with one hand, drinking a beer with the other one; yet i stand no chance versus the Guardian.
I’m surprised to see you didnt test melee builds when u made that mob. Not everyone uses range builds. And my build is not designed around freeze, or retaliation. That hammer mechanic can be a fun challenge for ranged characters, but is totally unforgivable for melee not specifically built for this.
For the purpose of making this mod enjoyable for everyone, This Guardian mob should be balanced so that any decent build with decent gear should stand a chance… ATM it’s clearly favorizing range builds.
Yeah, if you’re a vanilla 85 then there’s no comparison between the defences and healing you have to a level 100 in DAIL. There are only a select few things that are dangerous to my character… I guess the Guardian wasn’t one of them!
But it was just the one time I fought him perhaps I was a lucky team who had the lucky run in cup year.
I believe I installed on correctly. (as per instruction - same as grimmer & grimmest mod). Other than a new shared bank inventory I can’t find any new content. Do I need to create a in character, rather than reusing one from the main game? Or who gives unlimited quest?
Hum…there is no new shared bank inventory in this mod, are you sure you installed the Omega mod ?
The NPC quest giver is in devil crossing, between your starting position and an opened door, he replaces a guard.

Good idea for expanding end game. It was alot of fun. I was 3 nemesis away from completing my first quest and with location guide from internet, ran around for 3 hours and didn’t find one of the them. I would love an improved nemesis spawn rate. Or some way of finding nemesis easier (locked spawn location).
On a character with a movement skill, skipping a lot of trash, but killing all heroes/bosses I expect to complete all the Omega objectives in under 2 hours (in the DAIL compilation, but it would be similar without it). I’m guessing that Cthonian and Aetherial Nemesis were two of the three troublesome ones:
I do a Warden run (3 spots) and the lower Necropolis (4 quick spots, iirc) for Aetherial. I run Darkvale Gate (3-4 spots) to the boss, and the upper Necropolis (3 quick spots) for Cthonian. I spam these runs until I find them. I figure it is faster to try and get lucky on an efficient route rather than running to a bunch of annoying spots in a million areas. I also get to kill a boss in each Darkvale and Warden run.
I figure there are probably more efficient routes for those two Nemesis, they’re just the ones I came up with that were easy enough for me to remember on maps I’m happy to play.
The other Nemesis are easy enough to find in a single game. Just killing Kilrian and clearing SoT covers most of the Undead spots. Kymon only has about 6 spots total. Fabius only takes a few minutes to cover all spots.
I haven’t run for Omega points in a while. I’ll definitely need to open up a few maps from the locations thread to remind myself precisely where a couple of things are the next time I do. I’m forever forgetting precisely where the Undead Nemesis can spawn in the dungeons - especially spots where I’ve never actually fought him before.
Didn’t have all my nemesis factions leveled. Nemesis started dropping soon after. Must have misread, I thought all nemesis where tied to undead faction for this mod making the available instantly.
Use teleport skill (choas strike or blitz, etc) to get inside his hammers. Click between his feet on before clicking on him to attack - get as close as possible to avoid damage. Then facetanking him, once inside hammers you can never leave (or die). He was simple to kill use good heals or vampiric gear.
First of all , awesome mod, rly like it, it expands the game even further, great job! I am trying to merge it to my mod compilation atm and everything is working as it should do till i finish the omega quest completly, those rewards, the buffs, wont work, no idea why that is so. i also tried it standalone on softmodside on a vanilla game, and there it is the same, just to exclude my failure assimilation, so what to do here? Any ideas? Maybe it is just me and i misunderstand something, but no matter how, those buffs are not applied to the player
Hi, when i kill hero i don’t get any hero souls, it work well with boss and when i dismante a legendary item but not with hero, is it normal or i may dont understand something or maybe a bug??
I might need to make some changes to Omega items, since the last patch, some seems to trigger freeze with Windows 10 Pro.At least with my computer
Can anybody test the save game I posted here and tell me if mousing over the shield causes freezing ?

Reduced Omega boss spawn chance when killing Hero ennemies to :
(1+Omega level) /18000 =0,56 % chance at Omega level 100
So the best way to farm them for now is the buff granted with boss souls.But you could still find one randomly when killing Heroes monsters anywhere in the game.
